You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and release readiness of our app and cloud solutions.

The team develops connected products and solutions that combine embedded devices, mobile applications, and cloud services within modern Smart Home ecosystems, including Matter-based solutions.

In this role, you will focus on quality assurance and testing of our app and cloud solutions, many of which are developed in cooperation with external development partners. You will take ownership of ensuring that the right testing is performed, that test coverage and evidence are sufficient, and that quality and remaining risks are transparent before release.

This is not purely a hands-on test execution role. We are looking for someone who can understand complex systems, see across interfaces and components, coordinate testing across internal and external teams, and critically assess whether a solution has been tested sufficiently.

You will work closely with software developers, architects, Release Managers, test engineers, product stakeholders, and external development partners across multiple locations.

What will you do?

• Own testing and quality assurance for app and cloud solutions.
• Analyse requirements, architecture, interfaces, and test risks.
• Define and coordinate testing across relevant test levels and types.
• Assess third-party test plans, coverage, results, and evidence.
• Identify test gaps and ensure sufficient testing is performed.
• Coordinate testing across internal teams and external partners.
• Track defects, limitations, and remaining quality risks.
• Provide test evidence and release-readiness input to the Release Manager.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues located in Denmark and other international teams.
• Provide technical support to internal stakeholders across the organization.
• While the primary focus is quality ownership and test coordination, you will also contribute to test automation activities when needed.

What we're looking for

• Education & experience: university degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with experience in software, system, or quality engineering for app and cloud solutions.
• Testing & automation: Solid knowledge of system, integration, API, end-to-end, and performance testing, including test automation principles, tools, and frameworks (mobile app automation, preferably Appium, is an advantage).
• Analytical & systems thinking: Ability to understand APIs, interfaces, architectures, and data flows, assess test strategies, coverage, and evidence, and orchestrate full system testing — with advanced use of AI for automation and workflow optimization.
• Tools & technologies: Experience with Git, Azure, Postman, REST APIs, and common development tools; general knowledge of microcontrollers and electronic circuits. ISTQB certification is a plus.
• Collaboration & ownership: Experience coordinating and challenging external or distributed development partners, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Languages & communication: Strong communication and coordination skills in both English and Czech.
