Meet your future team

You will join our Data & AI organisation and report directly to the Senior Director, Data & AI. As Head of Data & AI Platforms, you will lead a team of Platform Engineers, DevOps specialists and Data Scientists responsible for the shared foundation that enables data, analytics and AI across the organisation.

The team owns and develops the core platforms and capabilities that support our Data & AI ecosystem, including our Snowflake-based data platform, dbt, GenAI Hub, AI Gateway, Cortex Agents and emerging agentic AI tooling. As part of the Data & AI leadership team, you will manage strategic vendor relationships and collaborate with Cyber Security, Enterprise Architecture, Legal, Procurement and Compliance on platform governance and direction.

What we offer

As Head of Data & AI Platforms, you will be responsible for the strategic direction, operation and continuous development of our Data & AI platform landscape. Together with the team, you will ensure that our platforms remain scalable, secure and fit for the rapidly evolving needs of data, analytics and AI.

More specifically your tasks will be to:

• Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing team of Data & AI Platform Engineers, DevOps specialists and Data Scientists.
• Own and drive the roadmap for the Data & AI platform landscape, including Snowflake, dbt, GenAI Hub, AI Gateway, Cortex Agents and related tooling.
• Set platform standards and best practices within security, reliability, governance, cost management and developer experience.
• Lead architecture discussions and technology evaluations across the Data & AI ecosystem.
• Partner closely with AI delivery teams to ensure platforms and capabilities effectively support business priorities.
• Monitor and optimise platform and AI-related costs, including token consumption across AI workloads.
• Own platform risk management, resiliency, disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Moreover, we expect that you:

• Have substantial experience within Data Science, Data Engineering, Analytics, AI or a related field.
• Bring several years of people leadership experience, including direct personnel responsibility.
• Have a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing technical teams.
• Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities with the ability to engage employees and influence stakeholders.
• Have a solid understanding of modern data platforms, cloud technologies and AI ecosystems.
• Understand Generative AI, LLM-based solutions and the economics of AI workloads.
• Possess strong stakeholder management skills and thrive in a collaborative, global environment.
