In this role, you will manage and develop your own portfolio of veterinary practices across the Benelux. Through professional and consultative customer conversations, you will build strong relationships, identify commercial opportunities, and support our veterinary partners to: find the right nutritional solutions for cats and dogs, explain all the (digital) services we offer, follow up on activities/campaigns. Unlike our field-based Sales Representatives, your customer relationships are primarily built remotely. You will work closely with the field sales team to ensure our veterinary customers receive consistent, high-quality experience, whether that is through advice, a product presentation, a sales campaign or day-to-day support.

💼 What will you do?

As Telesales Vet, you are responsible for building and developing relationships with veterinary practices within your customer portfolio. Your goal is to create sustainable commercial growth while providing customers with professional and relevant advice in line with Royal Canin's veterinary strategy.

You will:

• Build new relationships and further develop existing partnerships with key decisionmakers in veterinary practices.
• Conduct professional and commercially focused sales conversations, supported by scientific and product knowledge.
• Advise and support veterinary customers by telephone, working closely with the responsible field Sales Representative or manager.
• Identify sales opportunities and actively promote relevant Royal Canin products and solutions.
• Conduct product presentations and help increase product distribution within your customer portfolio.
• Execute targeted tele sales and promotional campaigns.
• Follow up on customer inquiries, sales orders and complaints, ensuring a professional customer experience.
• Document your results, evaluate your activities, and adjust your approach to achieve agreed commercial objectives.
• Support field sales colleagues when needed and actively contribute to team meetings and the wider sales organization.

You are a commercially driven and customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships from a distance. You know how to listen, ask the right questions, and translate customer needs into relevant commercial opportunities.

You are comfortable taking ownership of your customer portfolio, working in a structured and goal-oriented way, and having the confidence to engage and persuade customers through remote conversations. At the same time, you are a team player who enjoys working closely with sales colleagues to achieve shared results.

YOU ALSO BRING

• A relevant commercial vocational qualification, ideally combined with a background in veterinary care, for example as a veterinary nurse; alternatively, comparable professional experience combined with a strong commercial and sales background.
• Previous sales experience and a genuine passion for sales and customer contact.
• Fluency in Dutch and French, both mandatory for this position.
• An interest in medical and scientific topics and the ability to quickly understand new information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong persuasion skills.
• A high level of independence, self-motivation, drive, and flexibility.
• A structured, organized, and results-oriented way of working.
• Confidence using customer management/CRM systems and Excel for analysis and goal setting.
• Basic knowledge of clinical nutrition and/or pet health is an advantage, but not essential.
