alliant is seeking a Technical Recruiter who specializes in sourcing and recruiting highly skilled technical candidates. This role will be managing full-cycle hiring for Software Engineers, Technical Program Managers, Software Product Engineers and related roles, at all levels. This role partners with hiring managers to understand technical and program needs, build strong candidate pipelines, and deliver exceptional candidate experience while supporting an efficient and compliant hiring process.

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for Software Engineers, Technical Program Managers, Software Product Managers and related roles, from sourcing through offer acceptance.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, assess hiring needs, and develop recruiting strategies for positions at all levels.
• Source and engage candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and other channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with passive candidates to support current and future hiring needs.
• Review resumes and conducts initial interviews to assess qualifications, relevant technical or program experience, and alignment with role requirements.
• Coordinate interviews with hiring teams and keep candidates informed throughout the process.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR to negotiate offers and manage the offer process.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Track recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, pipeline activity, and source effectiveness.
• Support onboarding coordination to help new hires transition smoothly.
• Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, hiring efficiency, and the candidate experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Preferred: 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in an agency or corporate setting, including recruitment for Software Engineers, Technical Program Managers, or other technical roles at multiple levels.
• Technical Literacy: Solid understanding of tech terms, programming languages, and engineering roles.
• Proven ability to source, network with, and engage potential candidates to build talent pipelines.
• Ability to work with hiring managers to understand technical qualifications and assess candidates against role requirements.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills, including the ability to communicate the full value of an offer across compensation, benefits, and professional growth opportunities.
• Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with integrity and professionalism.
• Strong organizational, follow-through, written communication, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Workday is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Receptiveness to performance feedback within a team environment.
• Must reside in or relocate to Houston.
