The Senior Solution Architect is responsible for defining and delivering business-aligned, scalable, secure, and AI-enabled technology solutions across complex enterprise ecosystems. This role combines deep architectural expertise with emerging AI and cloud technologies to design future-ready platforms that accelerate business value, improve operational efficiency, and enable data-driven decision-making.

The successful candidate will lead architecture strategy and governance for multiple products and platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles, data strategy, security standards, and AI governance frameworks. Working closely with business stakeholders, product managers, engineers, data scientists, and platform teams, the architect will drive the design and adoption of innovative solutions leveraging cloud-native technologies, data platforms, integration services, automation, and Generative AI capabilities.

Job Responsibilities

Scope / (Content Leadership)

• Architect and deliver scalable, resilient, secure, and business-driven solutions that align with strategic product goals, enterprise architecture principles, and AWS best practices.

• Establish and govern end-to-end solution architectures, including non-functional requirements (NFRs), architecture fitness functions, technology standards, and critical design decisions throughout the product lifecycle.

• Leverage proven architecture frameworks, design patterns, and modern engineering practices to create consistent, maintainable, and future-ready solutions across complex products, platforms, and enterprise ecosystems.

• Champion the adoption of cloud-native, data-driven, and AI-enabled architectures, enabling innovation, operational excellence, and accelerated business value delivery.

Accountability/Problem Solving:

• Lead the architecture and delivery of complex, cross-functional solutions spanning multiple products, platforms, and business domains.

• Establish and maintain architecture vision, roadmaps, and technology strategies while proactively identifying dependencies, risks, opportunities, and business impacts.

• Define reference architectures, integration patterns, API strategies, data models, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency and scalability.

• Champion modern software engineering practices, cloud-native architectures, platform engineering, automation, and Generative AI capabilities to accelerate value delivery.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and architectural approaches to solve business challenges and drive continuous modernization.

Stakeholder Management:

• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making.

• Influence strategic direction and gain alignment across product, engineering, data, security, operations, and architecture teams.

• Foster collaboration, architectural excellence, and knowledge sharing across the organization.

• Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders on architecture, innovation, and technology investment decisions.

Impact/Strategy:

• Develop and maintain technology roadmaps that align with business priorities, enterprise strategy, and digital transformation initiatives.

• Provide architectural leadership and strategic guidance to engineering and product teams throughout the solution lifecycle.

• Identify opportunities to modernize platforms, reduce technical debt, improve reliability and operational efficiency, and accelerate innovation through AI, automation, and cloud technologies.

• Contribute to enterprise architecture standards, governance processes, and long-term technology strategy.

Complexity / (Product Size):

• Operate within highly complex, enterprise-scale environments consisting of multiple products, platforms, technologies, data domains, and business capabilities.

• Navigate architectural decisions involving competing priorities, regulatory requirements, scalability challenges, and organizational dependencies.

Business / Technical ability:

• Apply deep expertise in solution architecture, software engineering, AWS cloud technologies, data engineering, data and integration architecture, analytics platforms, AI/ML solutions, and enterprise technology strategy.

• Balance business objectives, user needs, technical constraints, operational excellence, and risk management to deliver sustainable architectural outcomes.

Qualifications

Education / Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.

• Extensive experience designing and delivering scalable enterprise solutions and leading architecture strategy, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.

• Hands-on experience with AI/ML, Generative AI, cloud platforms, and modern architecture patterns is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience implementing cloud-native, AI/ML, and Generative AI solutions in enterprise environments.

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence architecture decisions across organizational boundaries.

Technical Skills

• Deep expertise in solution architecture, software engineering, cloud-native application design, distributed systems, and enterprise integration patterns.

• Strong hands-on experience designing and delivering solutions on AWS using services such as ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, Bedrock, SageMaker, Glue and related cloud services.

• Experience designing and implementing modern data engineering solutions, including data lakes, data warehouses, streaming architectures, ETL/ELT pipelines, metadata management, data governance, and real-time analytics platforms using AWS services and cloud-native technologies. We use AWS Glue, Redshift, Lake Formation, EMR.

• Proven experience with microservices architectures, event-driven systems, domain-driven design (DDD), API-first development, and modern engineering practices.

• Experience designing and implementing AI/ML and Generative AI solutions, including using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, vector databases, prompt engineering, and MLOps.

• Strong understanding of data architecture, integration strategies, security, observability, resilience, performance optimization, and operational excellence.

• Ability to define architecture standards, reference architectures, non-functional requirements (NFRs), governance frameworks, and technology roadmaps while balancing innovation, risk, compliance, and operational needs.

• Experience evaluating emerging technologies, AWS services, vendor platforms, and architectural approaches to drive business value and technology modernization.
