Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Adult’s Social Worker to join the Rhondda Fawr Care & Support Team within Rhondda Cynon Taf Council for its client

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and supportive Adult Services team that is committed to delivering positive outcomes for adults across the local community. You will work alongside experienced managers and practitioners in a collaborative environment where social workers are encouraged to contribute to service development and drive positive change.

What will your responsibilities be? 

• Manage a caseload of adults requiring assessment, care planning, and ongoing support.
• Undertake strengths-based assessments, reviews, and support planning.
• Work in accordance with the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act and Mental Capacity Act.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with partner agencies and multidisciplinary teams.
• Promote independence and wellbeing through person-centred practice.
• Complete timely and accurate case recordings and reports.
• Contribute to safeguarding and risk management processes where required.

Note - Successful applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and must maintain their Social Care Wales registration throughout the assignment.

Qualifications and Experience: 

To be successful in this role you must have;  

• A recognised Social Work qualification.
• Current registration with Social Care Wales.
• A minimum of 3 years' post-qualified Social Work experience.
• Experience working within Adult Social Care services.
• Strong assessment, communication, and care planning skills.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice.
• A commitment to anti-oppressive and strengths-based practice.
