Job Description:
This job is responsible for maximizing the value for one or more products. Key responsibilities include working with stakeholders to understand their needs, and with product managers or specialists to ensure they are aligning on priorities, communicating the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and the team, and driving user adoption. Job expectations include ensuring delivery of products that meet client expectations, including features, security, availability, resiliency, timelines and costs.

Position Summary:

Own product execution outcomes by providing end-to-end oversight of initiatives within the product portfolio, proactively resolving delivery challenges, managing risks and dependencies, and escalating critical issues to ensure successful business and technology outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Generates the vision and roadmap for the product to align with strategic direction for the business or technology domain
• Communicates the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and the team, and drives user adoption
• Collaborates with stakeholders to understand their needs, problems, and aligns them on priorities
• Prioritizes and creates work for multiple teams and works with cross-functional teams
• Creates, prioritizes and refines stories in the product backlog
• Reviews and accepts stories and makes decisions regarding scope and requirements
• Partners with the team to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and through subject-matter expertise of the business
• This role is responsible for maximizing the value for a product.
• Key responsibilities include defining the vision and roadmap for the product, defining and prioritizing deliverables/epics in the product backlog, and articulating this to both stakeholders and the development team.
• Provide end-to-end execution oversight.
• Monitor project health, risks, dependencies, and milestones.
• Lead issue resolution and escalation management.
• Ensure accountability for delivery outcomes.
• Champion operational excellence and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications:

• Effective product owner skills sets, Able to manage things independently
• Act as the subject matter expert within the technical domain to support scope and requirement decisions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, problems, and align them on priorities.
• Create and Review the tech vision and roadmap for the product to align with strategic direction for the business or technology domain.
• Collaborate with vendors for the project needs as applicable; it encompasses in other routines
• Drive Business requirements sessions based on project timelines with Biz/Tech/Arch to review the requirements and XD
• Approve Jira Deliverables/Epics for Business Readiness
• Work with Architects applications owners for solution readiness
• Review Architectural design with impacted applications
• Owns and submits the intakes for Transfers owned projects, obtain estimates and commitments for Transfers and External service providers (ESP)
• Maintain and Balance project financials and align with PCM-PMMT in order to ensure work aligns with projects and impacted teams GL
