Job Description:
This job is responsible for managing clients and related credit products, partnering closely with relationship management, sales/trading, treasury management, operations and risk teams to support the client relationship..

Key responsibilities include underwriting, monitoring, managing operational needs and/or client requests.

Job expectations include credit-focused client management responsibilities, independent thought leadership, and the ability to provide feedback to less experienced teammates.

 

Responsibilities:

• Partners with relationship management and product partners to assess clients’ credit needs and create solutions
• Leads loan structure conversations and negotiates loan documentation with clients and internal/external legal partners
• Drives credit and risk approval processes for new credit originations, renewals, increases, and modifications
• Leads ongoing monitoring efforts for a portfolio of clients in compliance with regulations, policy and procedure
• Mentors and supports associates

• Partners with relationship management and product partners to assess clients’ credit needs and create solutions

• Leads the credit analysis process with the support of other analysts and associates
• Partners with Credit Officers and Risk teammates to understand structuring needs and requirements
• Monitors operating performance and financial condition, proactively identifying issues and opportunities
• Assists in delivery of financial modeling, loan structure, industry, economic and other analysis to team members to support the loan decision-making process
• Reviews work of junior teammates to provide feedback/coaching and ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations and policy procedure
• Granted credit approval for certain credit actions
• Participates in loan structure conversations and completion of loan documentation with internal/external legal partners

 

 

Required Qualifications:

• 3 years of credit and financial institution experience with Commercial Credit Underwriting, commercial credit loan structuring
• Strong written and communication skills
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Attention to detail

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting preferred or equivalent experience

Pay range

$102,000.00 - $166,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
