About this opportunity

Our Asset & Invoice Finance products support more than 17,000 UK businesses, helping them unlock cash, invest with confidence and pursue their ambitions. As we continue to grow, data will play a critical role in helping us better understand our customers, improve decision-making and develop new products and propositions.

As Senior Product Owner, Data Products, you'll lead the Data & Reporting capability across Asset & Invoice Finance, defining the product vision, strategy and roadmap for the future. You'll combine customer and commercial needs with a strong understanding of data and technology to shape investment priorities, develop data-led capabilities and deliver meaningful customer and business outcomes.

You'll operate at the intersection of Product, Data and Engineering, working closely with Engineering and Data specialists to understand our data landscape, challenge assumptions and shape the future direction of the capability. You'll be equally comfortable getting into the detail and stepping back to translate complex data and technology topics into clear product direction, business value and investment priorities.

You'll lead a team of Product, Customer Journey and Integration colleagues while working closely with Engineering, Data, Risk and Business partners across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to influence senior leaders, drive large-scale transformation and establish data as a key enabler of growth across the business.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Define and deliver the data product vision, strategy and roadmap across Asset & Invoice Finance.
  • Lead a team of Product, Customer Journey and Integration colleagues, creating an environment where teams can thrive and deliver value.
  • Translate customer, commercial and business priorities into clear product outcomes and investment decisions.
  • Develop data-led propositions, products and capabilities that improve customer experience and drive business growth.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Data and Architecture teams to understand technical requirements and constraints, challenge assumptions and shape scalable technology and data solutions.
  • Translate complex data and technology topics into clear business language, demonstrating the value of the capability and helping influence investment and prioritisation.
  • Lead delivery across multiple agile feature teams, ensuring priorities remain aligned to strategic outcomes.
  • Influence senior leaders and partners, communicating product strategy, progress and value with clarity.
  • Champion innovative ways of working, bringing fresh thinking and external market insight to our data and product agenda.
