AYANA Bali is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive specializing in the Chinese market to support business development, strengthen client relationships, and drive revenue growth
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the Chinese market, proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, and strong communication and relationship-building skills to develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with key partners in the travel and hospitality industry
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Chinese market to achieve sales targets and revenue objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, corporate clients, and other business partners from China
- Conduct regular sales calls, client visits, presentations, and follow-ups to generate business opportunities
- Promote AYANA Bali’s products and services to potential clients and strategic partners in the Chinese market
- Support the development and implementation of sales strategies to increase market share and drive revenue growth
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify potential business opportunities
- Coordinate with internal departments, including Reservations, Marketing, and Revenue Management, to ensure effective sales execution and client satisfaction
- Prepare sales reports, maintain accurate account records, and monitor sales performance against established targets
- Participate in sales missions, trade shows, networking events, and other business development activities as required
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably within the hospitality, hotel, resort, or travel industry
- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking clients and business partners
- Good understanding of the Chinese market, including customer preferences, travel trends, and business opportunities
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and business partners
- Target-driven, proactive, and highly motivated with a strong interest in sales and business development
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and sales activities effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with sales reporting systems
- Experience working with Chinese travel agencies, tour operators, or corporate accounts will be an advantage
- Experience in luxury hospitality or five-star resorts will be an advantage
