Job Purpose
Manage capital projects; scope and design, source and procure equipment and instrumentation, manage activities across all project phases. Support GMP qualification activities for new technology and continuous improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
Capital Projects
- Manage capital project- work with stakeholders to scope out project, manage activities across all project phases and ensure on-time completion
- Responsible for sourcing and procuring of equipment and instrumentation required for the project
- Ensure contractors’ work on site is carried out safely and to a high level of quality
- Ensure project deliverables satisfies GSK Quality Management System (QMS) standards and Engineering Standard (GES) requirements
- As a SME, work with Automation Engineer to design and implement system automation
- Work closely with site utilities experts to implement, monitor energy usage/ efficiency of new air cooled chiller system
- Train FM Engineers and Plant Technicians on maintaining/operating new equipment

Commissioning and Qualification
- Support process engineering team in commissioning and qualification activities for new technology/capability and improvement projects
- Develop, execute, and review validation protocols and related documentation
- Lead the resolution of validation events and escalate concerns in a timely manner
Key Requirement
- Minimum degree in relevant engineering field with at least 4 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Highly knowledgeable and competent in their field of work.
- Demonstrate excellent GMP behaviour and safe practices.
- Strong knowledge in pharmaceutical trouble-shooting experience.
- Strong leadership in team management.
- Good analytical skill in investigation.
- Lead complex issues investigation and detailed troubleshooting.
