Responsibilities:

The global delivery centre Procurement Associate will be responsible for the delivery of Source to Contract service for one or multiple regions across Indirect Categories such as Marketing & Sales, Professional & Corporate Services, IT etc. This role will collaborate with the procurement category and local market teams (LOC) to deliver sourcing, negotiation, contract execution, and supplier lifecycle management services to the global procurement organisation. This service is a key part of the future procurement operating model. It helps the function run its core operations efficiently, apply best practices, build strong category strategies, and ensure we work in a consistent and continuously improving way.

Strategy Execution

• Execute sourcing and contracting projects for the spend categories in your scope, working closely with stakeholders and partnering with the LOC and Global Category team.
• Deliver benefits identified in strategies, local, regional and global, through effective and collaborative strategy execution, aligned to assurance of supply (risk management), quality, service, cost and innovation.
• Make sure GSK’s Procurement policies, procedures, processes, systems and methodologies are followed in a compliant way within your area of responsibility.

Benefit delivery

• Support category leads in the creation and delivery of effective savings targets agreed with key stakeholders and Finance in accordance with the agreed Savings Methodology.
• Deliver savings and other set KPIs critical to global procurement plan as aligned with key stakeholders and Finance in accordance with the Savings Methodology and global budgets.

Sourcing & Contracting

• Partner with Category & LOC Procurement teams to execute global / regional / local sourcing projects.
• Execute and deliver contracting requirements in line with organization’s requirements.

Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management in GSK

• Build effective working relationships with stakeholders across procurement and related functions
• Learn to navigate organisational structures and processes so you can deliver on agreed goals effectively.

• Adapt to changing business needs and priorities, showing flexibility and a willingness to learn new ways of working.

We are looking for a Procurement Associate and if you have these skills, we would like to speak to you.

• 0-3 years of relevant experience
• A good understanding or strong interest in learning procurement processes, contract negotiations, strategic sourcing, cost analysis and supplier relationship management.
• Operating at pace and agile decision-making – using evidence and applying judgement to balance pace, rigor and risk.
• Keen to learn how to work with complex business processes in supplier transactions, including risk, regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Experience in using Procurement tools like Ariba / Fair Markit / Ironclad or other equivalent sourcing & contracting technology will be an added advantage.
• Good communication and MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) skills.
• Enthusiasm to learn and embrace digital and AI opportunities to bring further efficiencies to the Procurement process.
