Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of our Data Ingestion and Customer Onboarding experiences. This role is responsible for defining how customer data is collected, transformed, validated, and activated across our products, ensuring customers achieve value quickly and efficiently.

The successful candidate will develop a deep understanding of our products, platform strategy, customer needs, and company objectives to drive a cohesive vision for onboarding and data ingestion capabilities. They will work cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Partner teams to deliver scalable solutions that improve customer adoption and operational efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Vision

Define and own the product vision and strategy for data ingestion, onboarding experiences.
Develop a roadmap aligned with company objectives, customer needs, and platform priorities.
Evaluate trade-offs, dependencies, technical constraints, and alternative approaches to maximize business value.
Establish short-term and long-term priorities while balancing customer commitments, strategic investments, and technical debt.
Partner with leadership to ensure alignment across product portfolios and business units.

Customer Onboarding & User Journey Ownership

Own the end-to-end onboarding experience, from customer setup through successful product adoption.
Identify friction points in onboarding workflows and drive improvements that reduce implementation effort and time-to-value.
Understand customer data requirements, integration patterns, and operational workflows.
Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Support teams to continuously improve customer onboarding outcomes.
Define onboarding metrics and success criteria to measure adoption, activation, and customer health.

Product Execution

Translate business requirements into detailed product requirements, user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer impact, technical dependencies, and strategic priorities.
Work closely with Engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, release planning, and feature validation.
Ensure delivered capabilities meet user needs and align with product strategy.
Data Ingestion & Platform Capabilities

Define capabilities for data ingestion, mapping, validation, transformation, monitoring, and governance.
Understand modern integration technologies, APIs, connectors, ETL/ELT processes, and SaaS application integrations.
Drive solutions that enable efficient onboarding of customer data from multiple source systems.
Partner with platform teams to establish scalable and reusable ingestion services and experiences.
Define approaches for handling data quality, exceptions, observability, and onboarding automation.

Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with Product Managers across the portfolio to ensure consistency and alignment across products.
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and drive alignment.
Communicate priorities, roadmap decisions, and product direction effectively at all levels of the organization.

Customer Engagement & Product Evangelism

Conduct customer interviews and gather insights to validate product direction.
Demonstrate product capabilities to customers, prospects, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Support customer workshops, onboarding reviews, and strategic discussions.
Present roadmap updates and product outcomes to leadership and cross-functional teams.
Professional & Technical Skills:
5+ years of Product Management experience in a SaaS, enterprise software, platform, or data-centric environment.
Strong understanding of software development processes and Agile methodologies.
Experience building and managing product roadmaps.
Experience writing detailed requirements, user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar product management tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex trade-offs.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively across Engineering, Design, Operations, Customer Success, and Product organizations.
Additional Information:
Experience with data onboarding, data integration, data management, APIs.
Experience designing customer onboarding and implementation experiences.
Familiarity with enterprise software ecosystems such as ERP, CRM, eCommerce, procurement, or finance platforms.
Understanding of customer journey mapping and user experience principles.
Experience with cloud-based platforms and modern SaaS architectures.
Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and observability concepts.
Experience supporting customer demonstrations, workshops, and enterprise implementations.
