Job Summary
SummaryResponsible for leading and conducting research projects to advance nursing knowledge, improve patient care outcomes, and contribute to evidence-based practices. This role involves designing and implementing research studies, collecting and analyzing data, and disseminating findings through publications and presentations.

Essential Functions
-Lead and manage nursing research projects from conceptualization to completion.
-Develop research protocols, design data collection methods, and create project timelines.
-Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to inform research design and identify gaps in nursing knowledge.
-Implement data collection methods, including surveys, interviews, observations, or clinical data extraction.
-Analyze research data using statistical methods and software.
-Interpret results, draw conclusions, and make recommendations based on research findings.
-Prepare and submit research findings for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
-Ensure research projects comply with ethical standards and institutional review board (IRB) requirements.
Qualifications
Education
Associate's Degree Nursing required and Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Licenses and Credentials
Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - Generic - HR Only required
Experience
Clinical nursing experience 2-3 years required and Experience in nursing research, including study design, data collection, and analysis 3-5 years required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of research methodologies and statistical analysis.
- Excellent communication and writing skills for publication and presentation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and IRB processes.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, critical decision-making, and professional judgment skills.
