The Role

Are you passionate about financial markets, relationship building, and working in a dynamic client-facing environment? Fidelity's Electronic Trading team is seeking a highly motivated Electronic Trading Consultant to support the growth and expansion of our electronic trading business.

The Electronic Trading Consultant will work closely with senior coverage professionals, traders, product managers, and clients to help drive adoption of Fidelity's electronic trading capabilities. This role provides broad exposure to electronic trading, capital markets, market structure, and client engagement, while offering the opportunity to develop deep expertise in the electronic trading ecosystem.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting client relationships, coordinating business development initiatives, analyzing market and trading trends, and partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional client outcomes. This position sits at the intersection of sales, trading, product management, and technology and is ideal for an individual seeking to build a long-term career in capital markets.

Preferred Qualifications Include:

• 0-3 years of professional experience in financial services, capital markets, sales, relationship management, client service, or a related field
• Demonstrated interest in trading, investing, financial markets, market structure, or electronic trading
• Strong intellectual curiosity and a desire to continuously learn and develop expertise
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders
• Naturally outgoing and relationship-oriented, with the confidence and initiative to proactively engage clients, colleagues, and business partners
• Demonstrated willingness and ability to initiate conversations, build new relationships, and create opportunities for meaningful dialogue and collaboration
• Highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership of responsibilities
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and client focus

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business productivity tools
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field preferred
• Series 7 and Series 63 (or must be obtained within 120 days of hire)

The Team

Our Electronic Trading team develops innovative trading solutions that connect clients and business partners with high-quality execution opportunities across global markets. We operate at the intersection of trading, technology, product management, and client engagement, helping clients navigate an increasingly complex electronic trading landscape.

The Platform Coverage team serves as a critical link between our clients and our electronic trading capabilities. By developing strong relationships, understanding client needs, and partnering closely with internal stakeholders, the team helps drive business growth while delivering an exceptional client experience.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
