KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Sales & Business Performance

• Drive achievement of NB sales targets and overall business goals.

• Develop and execute annual business plans and sales strategies aligned with partnership objectives.
• Plan and implement tactical sales campaigns for customers and sales teams.

• Monitor nationwide sales performance and initiate timely interventions using Business MI.

• Provide regular performance updates, insights and recommendations to Management.

Partnership Management

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with bank partners and key stakeholders.

• Attend joint working group meetings and collaboration sessions with bank partners and group counterparts.

• Ensure agreed service level standards are met and resolve sales-related issues effectively.

People Leadership & Development

• Lead, coach and motivate RMs and team to achieve assigned targets.

• Strengthen product knowledge, sales capability and need-based selling skills.

• Conduct regular field visits to branches and states to provide on-ground support.

Customer & Compliance

• Ensure high standards of integrity, professionalism and compliance in all sales activities.

• Uphold company policies, regulatory requirements and bank partner frameworks.

Operational & Risk Management

• Identify and manage operational and sales-related risks.

• Ensure timely implementation of audit and risk review recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in financial services, preferably in insurance or bancassurance.

• Possess board-based knowledge of the Insurance business and Malaysian market practices.

• Proven leadership experience managing sales teams.

• Possess business acumen with strategic and analytical thinking skills.

• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
