Our YouGov Shopper team manages a families panel locally. These households continuously register their groceries via our YouGov Shopping application on their smartphone. Via the data we collect on these daily purchases, we analyze trends on the market and report these to our clients (manufacturers, retailers).

The purpose of the role is to complete and monitor a database of product groups, in accordance with pre-established methodology, deadlines and quality in the Consumer Panel Operations department.
 

The Data Management Specialist is responsible for the primary classification and processing of data in the User Panel survey, as well as for maintaining and updating the database.
 

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do:

• Classify products in different product groups, as part of a common database array.

• Maintain, update and adjust of the current database on the basis of set criteria.

• Develop new product groups.

• Have responsibility for compliance with the deadlines for input and processing of primary data.

• Service and maintenance of the data entry system. Maintains and updates the reference database in accordance to the market changes.

• Monitor the products on the market as well as regular shopping tours on routes and schedule pre-set by the line manager.

• Communicate with the other units in the Department on all working topics concerning the database with product items.

These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:

• Completed secondary school education or University degree.

• Good level of English language – upper intermediate level (B2).

• Ability to work within deadlines and set goals.

• Attention to detail and a high level of personal organization.

• Very good communication skills.

• Good computer literacy medium level - working with MS Office (Word, Excel).
