The Opportunity

As a Cyber Defense - Detection Engineering - Manager, you will focus on identifying and analyzing potential threats to an organization's security, as well as managing vulnerabilities to prevent cyber attacks. You will play a crucial role in safeguarding sensitive information and enabling the resilience of digital infrastructure. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way. You embrace technology and innovation to enhance your delivery and encourage others to do the same.

In this role, you will work within our Cybersecurity practice, focusing on threat intelligence and vulnerability management. You will analyze and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system, take ownership of projects, and develop skills outside your comfort zone, encouraging others to do the same.

Responsibilities

- Leading threat intelligence and vulnerability management initiatives to safeguard sensitive information
- Developing secure systems and proactive solutions to prevent cyber attacks
- Analyzing potential threats and managing vulnerabilities within digital infrastructure
- Guiding teams in strategic planning and execution of cybersecurity projects
- Utilizing cloud security and network security platforms to enhance threat detection capabilities
- Conducting research and intelligence analysis to identify and address cyber threats
- Implementing intrusion detection systems and malware detection tools for comprehensive security coverage
- Collaborating with team leadership to validate quality, timelines, and deliverables
- Mentoring team members to develop skills and encourage innovation in cybersecurity practices
- Addressing conflicts and engaging in critical conversations with stakeholders to resolve issues

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of experience

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Project/Technology Management
- Demonstrating proficiency in Cyber Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability Management
- Utilizing advanced skills in Malware Analysis and Reverse Engineering
- Excelling in Network Security Platforms and Intrusion Detection Systems
- Embracing AI-Human Collaboration and Digital Tooling for innovative solutions
- Developing strategic questioning and analytical thinking for complex problem-solving
- Leading teams with a focus on coaching and feedback to enhance performance

Job Posting End Date

The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $232,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
