The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in Wealth Management, product strategy, and software delivery, along with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in complex financial technology environments. They will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services, Client Engagement, and Executive Leadership teams to drive innovation, prioritize investments, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

This role requires a strategic thinker who is equally comfortable engaging with executive stakeholders, clients, and engineering teams while maintaining accountability for roadmap execution, product quality, and market success.

As a member of the leadership team, you will shape the future direction of our Wealth solutions and ensure we continue to meet the evolving needs of clients operating in increasingly complex regulatory, operational, and investment environments.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Define and communicate the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for the CRIMS Wealth platform.

  • Partner with executive leadership to align product investments with corporate objectives and market opportunities.

  • Drive prioritization decisions based on client needs, market trends, business value, and strategic goals.

  • Serve as a key advocate for Wealth solutions across State Street and Charles River.

Product & Platform Management

  • Lead the definition and delivery of strategic product initiatives across multiple development teams.

  • Oversee product roadmap planning, portfolio prioritization, capacity management, and execution governance.

  • Ensure functional and non-functional requirements are clearly defined, documented, and aligned with client expectations.

  • Drive continuous improvement of platform capabilities, workflows, administration tools, and operational efficiency.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, QA, Operations, Cloud Services, Professional Services, Support, and Relationship Management teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Establish and manage cross-team programs that require coordination across multiple business and technical organizations.

  • Ensure successful execution of major client-driven initiatives, regulatory requirements, and platform enhancements.

Client & Market Engagement

  • Engage directly with clients, prospects, and industry stakeholders to understand evolving business challenges and product opportunities.

  • Represent Charles River at client meetings, industry events, advisory boards, and executive reviews.

  • Translate client feedback into actionable product investments and strategic initiatives.

  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies influencing wealth management.

Organizational Development

  • Mentor and develop Product Managers, Business Analysts, and other product organization resources.

  • Establish best practices for requirements gathering, roadmap management, backlog governance, and delivery execution.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Partner with leadership to support organizational planning, talent management, and succession development.

Delivery Excellence

  • Ensure successful delivery, documentation, enablement, and adoption of platform capabilities.

  • Monitor key product metrics, delivery milestones, and client outcomes.

  • Drive operational excellence and execution predictability across the product organization.

  • Act as an escalation point for complex business, product, and client-related issues.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Wealth Technology, Financial Technology, or related disciplines.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing product, business analysis, and/or cross-functional technology teams.

  • Deep understanding of Wealth Management workflows, portfolio management, trading, compliance, performance measurement, and investment operations.

  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale software initiatives from strategy through delivery.

  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience working directly with clients and translating market needs into product strategy.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
