Talent Partner - US Recruiter
About the Job
Be the person who keeps the US hiring process running smoothly. As a Talent Partner at Cloud Accountant Staffing (CAS), you’ll manage the recruiting pipeline for US and Canadian accounting candidates: keeping every candidate organized and informed, coordinating client interviews, and getting new hires ready for Day 1. You’ll be one of the first people candidates talk to at CAS, so your communication, organization, and follow-through set the tone for every placement.
This role is based in the Philippines and works US business hours.
Note: This is a full-time role. Exclusive commitment is required, so no part-time or freelance work once hired.
About the Role
You’ll own the recruiting process for US- and Canada-based roles, from application through pre-onboarding. Most of your time will go to managing pipelines in Ashby, coordinating interviews, keeping candidates moving, supporting offers, and handing every hire to the Admin team ready to start.
Sourcing and screening are a lighter part of the role today. As our US desk grows, the role may take on more sourcing and recruiting.
What You’ll Do
Pipeline & Process Management
Manage every candidate in Ashby, including stages, notes, and timely status updates, so nothing falls through the cracks.
Keep pipelines clean and moving, following up on stalled candidates and open next steps.
Track and report on pipeline health, time-to-fill, and interview-to-offer conversion.
Spot gaps in the process and suggest ways to make it faster and smoother.
Candidate Communication & Interview Coordination
Keep candidates informed at every stage with timely, professional communication.
Schedule client interviews across US and Canadian time zones.
Prepare candidates for client interviews and debrief them afterward.
Share clear, concise candidate summaries with the team and clients.
Offers & Pre-Onboarding
Support the offer process: present offers, answer questions, and help close candidates.
Collect pre-onboarding requirements and documents, and coordinate any background
checks.
Hand off each hire to the Admin team with complete, accurate information.
Keep candidates engaged and informed between offer acceptance and Day 1 to
prevent drop-off.
Light Sourcing & Screening
Support sourcing for open roles through LinkedIn, job boards, and referrals as needed.
Conduct pre-screen calls to assess experience, work authorization, and fit.
Post job ads and send outreach messages to North American candidates when needed.
What You’ll Bring
2+ years of experience in recruitment coordination, recruiting operations, or full-cycle recruiting.
Strong organization and attention to detail. You keep pipelines accurate, follow up without reminders, and manage many candidates at once.
Excellent spoken and written English. You’ll speak with North American candidates and clients daily, so clear, confident, natural communication is essential.
Working knowledge of sourcing on LinkedIn and job boards.
Strong time management, with the ability to juggle multiple open roles and priorities.
A proactive, ownership-driven approach and comfort in a fast-paced remote setup.
Willingness to work US Eastern Time, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (night shift in the Philippines).
A reliable home office setup with stable internet, backup power or connectivity, and a
quiet workspace.
Nice-to-have
US or Canada market recruiting experience, especially for accounting, finance, or professional services roles.
Familiarity with US accounting credentials and terms (CPA, EA, GAAP, tax season) and US work-authorization basics.
Experience with an ATS, ideally Ashby, and tools like LinkedIn Recruiter.
An agency or staffing-firm background, or stronger sourcing skills (such as Boolean search) for when the role grows.
The Ideal Candidate
Sounds polished and credible on a call with a US candidate within the first minute.
Runs a tidy, up-to-date pipeline and always knows where every candidate stands.
Moves fast without cutting corners, and knows when to dig deeper.
Explains processes simply and keeps candidates informed without being chased.
Treats every candidate like a future placement and every pipeline like a deadline.
Always looks for ways to improve the process and the candidate experience.
Perks
Fully remote, work-from-home setup.
Direct exposure to the US and Canadian accounting market and modern staffing
practices.
A collaborative global team that values ownership and process improvement.
Contract Status & Exclusivity
Full-time independent contractor based in the Philippines. Exclusive commitment is required, so no part-time or freelance engagements after hire. Conflict-of-interest checks may apply.
How We Work
