Sobre este puesto de Social Media Manager, Organic & Content en Nood
Social Media Manager, Organic & Content
Location: Austin, TX or New York, NY / Hybrid
Employment: Full-time
Reports to: CMO of Nood, Co-Founder/CMO of Tempo
The Opportunity
Nood is a high-growth beauty-tech brand making at-home hair removal more accessible, with an expanding roadmap of devices and skincare. We’re hiring a Social Media Manager to turn our products, customer experiences, and brand point of view into content people want to watch, share, and come back for.
You’ll own Nood’s organic social presence across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok—from strategy and ideation through shooting, editing, publishing, and performance analysis. You’re a creator first: someone who understands why a video works and can bring an idea to life with a phone, a laptop, and good judgment.
You’ll also support brand incubations under the Nood umbrella, like Tempo, our recently launched wellness and supplement brand. Nood’s Co-Founder/CMO and the relevant brand’s CEO will align on priorities and capacity.
What You’ll Own
- Organic Social Strategy. Own content pillars, channel plans, and publishing calendars for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, tied to product priorities, audience needs, and targets for follower growth, views, engagement, and site traffic.
- Hands-On Content Creation. Concept, shoot, edit, write, and publish short-form videos, Reels, Stories, carousels, and other relevant formats. Produce the majority of day-to-day content yourself, bringing in teammates and other participants when they strengthen the story.
- Brand Voice & Storytelling. Turn product education, real routines, customer questions, and cultural moments into distinctive content. Keep Nood recognizable while adapting execution to each platform.
- Creative Testing. Test hooks, formats, pacing, and recurring series. Spot relevant trends early, improve content using results, and carry winning ideas across brands.
- Audience Engagement. Manage comments, mentions, and DMs in each brand's voice; join relevant conversations and feature customers in recurring content. Route service issues to Customer Experience and turn recurring questions into content ideas.
- Content Collaboration. Partner with the Creator Partnerships & Community Lead on content needs and publish approved creator assets. Work with Performance Creative and Paid Media to turn organic winners into ads, share audience insights, and bring paid learnings back into organic.
- Performance & Reporting. Own social dashboards and report weekly on reach, retention, shares, saves, audience growth, and site traffic against targets. Explain what worked, what didn’t, and what you’ll change.
- Selective Portfolio Support. Help Tempo and future brands establish their social voice, test content, and support launches within agreed priorities. Document a repeatable playbook for a new brand’s first 90 days on social.
What This Role Is About
This is a hands-on individual contributor role with ownership of both strategy and execution. Some days you’ll be filming a product demonstration. Others, you’ll be testing a new series or digging into why one video held attention and another didn’t.
Who You Are
- You’re a creator and a doer who can take an idea from concept to published content.
- You have strong taste and know how to make content feel natural to each platform.
- You use audience feedback and data to sharpen your creative judgment.
- You’re organized, self-directed, and comfortable producing consistently in a lean team.
- You collaborate well and communicate clearly when priorities compete.
- You balance creative speed with brand standards and approved product claims.
What Success Looks Like in Your First 90 Days
- A clear social strategy and sustainable publishing cadence.
- A consistent flow of original content, with promising recurring formats.
- A reliable audience engagement and customer-service handoff process.
- Simple reporting that connects performance to creative decisions.
- A focused plan for supporting Tempo alongside the brand's priorities.
Requirements
- 3+ years creating content and growing social accounts for consumer brands, or equivalent results building your own audience.
- A portfolio showing strong short-form video skills and measurable results on Instagram and TikTok.
- Experience managing brand publishing across Meta platforms, including Facebook.
- Strong shooting, editing, copywriting, and basic production skills; comfortable with CapCut, Premiere, or similar tools.
- Ability to interpret content performance and translate it into practical decisions.
- Comfortable appearing on camera or directing others.
- Able to work in person regularly in Austin or New York for collaboration and content production.
Nice to have: beauty, skincare, or wellness experience; photography and design skills; paid social creative experience; or experience launching a new social account.
