Your Role

A 30-second clip is often the very first time someone encounters the gospel. Someone scrolling TikTok at 2am, struggling with anxiety or addiction, stops on one of your edits. For the first time, they hear truth that changes their life. You are the person who crafts that moment. That is the weight and the privilege of this role.

You own the short-form pipeline end to end. You ship 20-30 videos per month across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, pulling from long-form source content and turning it into clips that stop the scroll and drive real growth.

What You’ll Own

• High-volume short-form editing: 20-30 polished clips per month, consistently on time and on brand

• Storytelling from raw footage: find the moment, build the arc, make it land in under 60 seconds

• Creative enhancement: motion graphics, kinetic text, music selection, and sound design that elevate every clip

• Content mining: dig through the full library to surface evergreen moments and underused footage worth reshaping

• Trend analysis: stay ahead of platform formats, sounds, and hooks that drive reach on TikTok, Reels, and Shorts

• Performance analysis: review clip-level data, identify what is working, and feed those insights back into your edits

• Creative ideation: bring concepts and angles to the table, not just execution
  

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
Objective 1: Deliver viral-ready clips that grow our reach

• Contribute to hitting 75M-100M+ monthly views across platforms

• Average views per clip: 300K-400K is good, 500K-750K is great, 1M+ is beast mode

Objective 2: Execute with speed and precision

• 100% on-time delivery rate for all final edits

• Less than 3 revision rounds per video after the first month
  

This Role Is NOT For You If:

• You cannot point to clips you have personally edited that broke 1M+ views

• You need heavy direction to find the story inside raw footage

• You treat short-form as a lesser format rather than its own craft

• You edit to finish, not to stop the scroll

• High volume without quality dropoff is not something you have proven you can sustain

• You are unfamiliar with how TikTok, Reels, and Shorts each reward different formats and pacing
  

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• A portfolio of viral short-form work with real view counts attached

• Proven ability to build compelling stories from raw, unscripted footage

• Deep platform knowledge: TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts are not interchangeable to you

• Expert-level Adobe Premiere Pro

• Proficiency in ClickUp, Frame.io, and Google Drive as daily production tools
  

Compensation

Phase 1 (60 days): $50-$100 per video based on skill level, plus performance bonuses.

Phase 2: Monthly retainer of $2,000-$4,000 plus bonuses based on output and performance.
