• End-to-End Quality Validation: Build and execute comprehensive regression and E2E test suites using modern automation tools such as Playwright and API testing frameworks.

• Shift-Left Quality Advocacy: Partner with development teams early in the software lifecycle to establish quality requirements, improve testability, and prevent defects before deployment.

• CI/CD Integration: Embed automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing, faster feedback loops, and quality gates throughout the software delivery process.

• Performance Testing: Design and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability testing to identify bottlenecks and ensure application reliability under production workloads.

• Test Tool Development: Develop custom automation utilities, frameworks, and testing solutions using programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.

• Quality Metrics & Reporting: Establish quality metrics, test coverage reporting, defect trend analysis, and actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.

• API & Integration Testing: Develop automated API, contract, and integration tests to validate microservices and enterprise integrations.

• Cross-Platform Validation: Develop and execute automated tests across desktop, mobile, and cross-browser environments to ensure a consistent customer experience.

• Domain Expertise Development: Quickly develop an understanding of Employee Benefits products, business processes, customer journeys, and regulatory requirements to ensure effective test coverage and quality outcomes.

• Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, Software Engineers, Architects, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.

• Continuous Improvement: Drive adoption of engineering best practices, automation-first testing strategies, and modern quality engineering methodologies.

• Strong software development skills in Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar programming languages, including object-oriented programming principles and automation framework development.

Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and acceptance test automation practices.

Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL query development, data validation, and test data management.

• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.

• Experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks and reusable test libraries.

• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms.

• Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter, k6, Gatling, LoadRunner, or similar solutions.

• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn complex business domains and translate business requirements into effective test strategies, test cases, and automation solutions.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing enterprise-wide shift-left testing and continuous quality engineering practices.

• Experience supporting cloud transformation, modernization, and migration initiatives.

• Experience with observability, monitoring, logging, and production diagnostics.

• Experience testing cloud-native applications deployed on Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with service virtualization, contract testing, and test data management.

• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.

• Knowledge of AI-assisted testing tools and quality engineering accelerators.

• Experience developing custom testing frameworks, utilities, or productivity accelerators.
