Digital Marketing Specialist (Organic Social & Influencer Marketing)

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Digital Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team and support the growth of multiple consumer brands across beauty, retail, and outdoor categories.
This role is focused on organic social media and influencer marketing, with a strong emphasis on agency management, stakeholder engagement, content governance, and brand alignment. You will act as a key link between internal teams, external agencies, and brand stakeholders to ensure social content and influencer activity deliver against business objectives and brand standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands the social media landscape beyond publishing content and can confidently challenge agencies, manage multiple stakeholders, and contribute to social media strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Organic Social Media Management

• Support the planning and execution of organic social media activity across company brands.
• Review and approve social media calendars developed by agencies.
• Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and business priorities.
• Manage and optimize content across key platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok.
• Work closely with paid media partners by sharing approved content and coordinating campaign requirements.

Influencer Marketing

• Lead influencer marketing initiatives in collaboration with agency partners.
• Review influencer proposals and recommendations.
• Evaluate influencer partnerships against campaign goals and target audiences.
• Support the development of influencer strategies and activation plans.
• Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

Agency Management

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for external social media and influencer agencies.
• Review agency plans, challenge recommendations when necessary, and ensure high-quality execution.
• Provide feedback on content, creative concepts, and campaign delivery.
• Ensure agencies remain aligned with brand objectives and performance expectations.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate closely with Brand, Legal, Commercial, and Marketing teams.
• Gather requirements and translate business objectives into actionable agency briefs.
• Present updates, recommendations, and performance summaries to stakeholders.
• Build strong working relationships across multiple departments and brands.

Campaign Planning & Strategy

• Support quarterly and annual social media planning.
• Contribute to campaign strategy development by understanding budgets, objectives, and KPIs.
• Create clear and effective briefs that enable agencies to deliver against business goals.
• Review agency executions and ensure they accurately reflect approved briefs.

Reporting & Performance Analysis

• Monitor campaign and channel performance against agreed KPIs.
• Create presentations and performance reports for internal stakeholders.
• Translate social media data into meaningful business insights.
• Support the development of recommendations to improve future campaigns.

Administrative & Coordination Support

• Coordinate product sample requests and distribution.
• Support vendor and purchase order processes as required.
• Assist with internal marketing administration and project coordination activities.

Requirements

Essential

• 2+ years of experience in Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Influencer Marketing, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience managing organic social media channels, particularly Instagram and TikTok.
• Experience working with external agencies and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of social media strategy, content planning, and influencer marketing.
• Ability to assess creative content against brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
• Experience creating briefs and coordinating campaign delivery.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of marketing KPIs.

Preferred

• Experience within the beauty, cosmetics, retail, lifestyle, or outdoor sectors.
• Experience working with influencer marketing platforms and tools.
• Familiarity with social media analytics platforms such as Sprout Social or similar.
• Exposure to reporting and dashboard tools such as Power BI.
• Experience preparing presentations and stakeholder review decks.
