Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

Our Associate Application Developer learns to perform the required analysis, problem solving, and programming to meet the software development needs of the business.  

As an Associate Application Analyst and Developer you will:

• Work collaboratively with technical and business team members to develop and maintain business solutions
• Adhere to standards for software development with emphasis on test driven development and quality of software
• Perform maintenance and problem resolution on software applications
• Provide time estimates for project deliverables
• Unit test code for proper functionality
• Participate in team planning activities

• A comprehensive training course on the programming language used on our IBMi system will be provided during the on-boarding process
• You'll be assigned a mentor throughout your on-boarding at Summit which will provide regular feedback regarding your performance
• Flexible working schedule including up to 3 days remote work arrangements.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Field of Study: Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.

Experience: 0 to 3 years of related experience.

Qualifications:

• Completion of Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
• Application program development or equivalent in education and/or work experience
• Understanding of programming logic
• Experience working with relational databases
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Detail oriented and ability to collaborate in a team environment
