About the role

As a Thrift Store Supervisor, this is your opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service while supporting the day-to-day operations of the store and contributing to the mission and community impact of The Salvation Army.


Reporting to the Corps Officer, this is a casual position, based on-site in Swan Hill, VIC



How you will make an impact

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and provide assistance across all areas of the store.
  • Support the processing, pricing and merchandising of donated goods to maximise sales and presentation.
  • Assist with promotional activities, visual merchandising and maintaining store standards.
  • Complete store opening and closing procedures, cash handling and banking tasks as required.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and secure environment by following Work Health and Safety and security procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members while following established policies, procedures and operational requirements.



What you will bring

  • Demonstrated customer service experience working in a retail environment with an ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Sound presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written) with an ability to interact with a variety of people.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check is required
  • Drivers Licence
  • Working With Children Check
