About the role
As a Thrift Store Supervisor, this is your opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service while supporting the day-to-day operations of the store and contributing to the mission and community impact of The Salvation Army.
Reporting to the Corps Officer, this is a casual position, based on-site in Swan Hill, VIC
How you will make an impact
- Deliver exceptional customer service and provide assistance across all areas of the store.
- Support the processing, pricing and merchandising of donated goods to maximise sales and presentation.
- Assist with promotional activities, visual merchandising and maintaining store standards.
- Complete store opening and closing procedures, cash handling and banking tasks as required.
- Maintain a safe, clean and secure environment by following Work Health and Safety and security procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to team members while following established policies, procedures and operational requirements.
What you will bring
- Demonstrated customer service experience working in a retail environment with an ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Sound presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written) with an ability to interact with a variety of people.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check is required
- Drivers Licence
- Working With Children Check
