What you’ll do
- Month-end-close tasks including preparation of journal entries
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting, in both Armenian Software and NetSuite
- Record cash transfers and conduct bank reconciliations and other supporting schedules
- Help organize and maintain company’s accounting records and documents
- Support internal and external audit requirements
- Complete ad-hoc projects and reports
What you’ll need
- 4+ years of experience in Armenian accounting, Big 4 experience preferred
- Strong experience with ArmSoft is mandatory
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with NetSuite and working in an international company is a plus
- English fluency required

Within Strategic Finance, the R&D pillar is the financial brain trust for one of Miro's largest and fastest-evolving cost centers. As AI reshapes how products are built and operated, R&D investment decisions — from headcount and tooling to model selection and cloud commit strategy — have never carried more weight. We're building a function that doesn't just report on R&D spend but actively shapes where it goes.
About the Role
You see a noisy spreadsheet as an opportunity, not a chore. You believe great finance partnering is built on credibility with non-finance stakeholders. And you're genuinely curious about how modern AI products are built, scaled, and paid for.
What you’ll do
- R&D Financial Planning & Forecasting: Own the end-to-end planning, forecasting, and monthly close commentary for R&D, including headcount, software, and AI/cloud infrastructure spend, with a high bar for forecast accuracy and clear executive narratives
- Headcount Strategy & Workforce Planning: Partner with R&D leadership and People Operations to model and manage one of the company's largest headcount footprints — building hiring plans, location strategies, and capacity scenarios that balance velocity with discipline
- AI Cost Strategy & Optimization: Build the unit-economics models that explain our AI cost base (cost per active user, per feature, per inference) and lead cross-functional initiatives with R&D, Procurement, and Infrastructure to drive measurable reductions in unit cost without slowing the roadmap
- Investment Cases & Strategic Decision Support: Build the financial cases behind major R&D bets — build-vs-buy on AI tooling, model and provider selection, infrastructure commits, and large product investments — and bring a clear recommendation, not just analysis
- AI-Powered Finance Operations: Act as one of Strategic Finance's leading voices on how to use AI to do our own job better, identifying and prototyping opportunities to automate variance analysis, reporting, and modeling workflows
- Executive Reporting & Stakeholder Partnership: Prepare board, ELT, and operating-review materials that translate complex R&D economics into clear stories, and act as the trusted finance counterpart to R&D Stream Leads day to day
What you’ll need
- 5+ years in strategy/management consulting, investment banking, strategic FP&A, BizOps, or corporate strategy, ideally with exposure to a high-growth SaaS or cloud-native business
- Advanced financial modeling skills (forecasting, scenario analysis, unit economics, cohort analysis) and the ability to triangulate insights across messy, multi-source data
- Demonstrated experience partnering with senior technical stakeholders (engineering, product, infrastructure leaders) and influencing decisions without authority
- Strong interest in — and ideally hands-on familiarity with — AI/cloud cost dynamics and using AI tools to make finance work faster and better
- Exceptional communication skills: you can take a complex financial topic and turn it into a one-pager an SVP can act on
- Bias to action and comfort with ambiguity; you frame the problem yourself before solving it
- Familiarity with SaaS business models and subscription revenue dynamics

About the Team
About the Role
You are someone who views a "clean audit" as a baseline and "process automation" as the goal. You have the technical depth to review a complex hedge entry but the communication skills to explain a quarterly flux to an investor.
What you’ll do
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Own the quarterly consolidated flux analysis and the preparation of board/reporting package slides, providing clear narratives for executive leadership
- Audit & Project Management: Serve as the lead project manager for the global annual audit, coordinating with international teams and external auditors to ensure a timely completion
- Close Management: Command the global close timeline, ensuring all deadlines are met across entities while maintaining a rigorous Journal Entry (JE) review process
- Technical Accounting & Equity: Manage equity reporting (including stock-based comp) and oversee the accounting for complex instruments, including hedging, capitalized commissions, and capitalized software
- Investor Relations Support: Partner with the leadership team on investor reporting, ensuring all external financial communications are accurate and compliant
- AI & Systems Innovation: Act as the functional lead for the GL piece of our AI automation project, identifying opportunities to leverage AI for JEs, reconciliations, and anomaly detection
- Compliance & Documentation: Author and maintain annual GL memos and technical positions to ensure the company’s accounting policies remain robust and current
- Ad Hoc Projects & Strategic Initiatives: Act as the lead for the GL department, spearheading high-impact projects including M&A integration, new entity setup, or technical research into emerging accounting standards as business needs evolve
What you’ll need
- Certification: Active CPA is a plus
- Experience: 8–12+ years of accounting experience, including a leadership role within a global, multi-entity environment
- Technical Mastery: Strong command of GAAP/IFRS, particularly regarding equity, and consolidations
- Systems Fluency: Advanced experience with ERP systems and a genuine interest in AI/automation tools for finance
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects like global audits or system implementations

About the Role
What you’ll do
- Pigment Architecture & Ownership: Serve as the Lead Architect for our Pigment environment. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle: discovery, design, build, UAT, and deployment
- Model Building: Assist in the building and refining of financial models (Headcount, Revenue/ARR, OpEx, and Cash Flow) directly within Pigment, ensuring they are dynamic, scalable, and audit-ready
- Data Strategy & Integrations: Provide overall support for the Finance Systems roadmap. Partner with our Biz Tech and Accounting to optimize data flows between Pigment and our tech stack (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, Workday, Snowflake)
- Enablement: Act as the internal champion for Pigment. You will create documentation and lead training sessions to ensure the broader Finance and Business Org can self-serve and trust the data
- Process Engineering: Look beyond the software to improve the process. You will identify bottlenecks in our current planning cycles and automate them away
What you’ll need
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Finance, Data and Systems, Finance Systems or a similar role. At least 2+ years of hands-on experience as a "Model Builder" in a connected planning tool (Pigment experience is a huge plus, but any planning tool such as Anaplan or Adaptive is a plus)
- Systems Fluency: You think in dimensions, versions, and data types. You understand how to structure formulas that are efficient and easy for others to follow
- Problem Solver: You have a "builder" mindset. When a model breaks or a data sync fails, you enjoy digging into the logic to find the root cause
- Communication: Ability to translate "system-speak" into everyday language for the finance and business partners
