Ensure our organization receives timely payment for the critical care we provide. As a Billing Coordinator, you'll manage the complete billing cycle for Medicare, Medicaid, private payors, and patient accounts - submitting accurate claims, tracking receivables, and resolving payment issues to maintain healthy cash flow that supports our healthcare mission. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented billing professional with home health or hospice experience who understands the complexities of healthcare reimbursement. You'll work independently to process claims, follow up on outstanding accounts, and maintain positive relationships with payors and patients - all while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Essential Skills
You're detail-oriented and understand that accuracy in billing directly impacts the organization's ability to continue providing care. You catch errors before claims are submitted, verify information thoroughly, and ensure every claim meets payor requirements the first time. You're persistent and organized, tracking outstanding accounts systematically and following up consistently until claims are paid. You understand the complexities of healthcare billing - from Medicare regulations to private payor requirements - and you navigate these systems confidently. You're a strong communicator who can explain billing issues clearly to patients, negotiate with insurance companies professionally, and collaborate effectively with clinical staff to obtain needed documentation. You handle billing inquiries and disputes with patience and professionalism. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift based on urgent billing needs, month-end deadlines, or payor issues. You're adaptable, able to manage multiple accounts and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and meeting productivity standards.
This role offers the opportunity to apply your billing expertise in a meaningful healthcare setting where accurate, timely billing ensures we can continue providing quality care to our patients. You'll work in a professional office environment with a supportive billing team. We provide training on our specific systems and processes, including Homecare Homebase for those new to the platform. As our organization grows, there are opportunities to expand your billing knowledge across different service lines and take on additional responsibilities.
Professional Growth:
This is an office-based position with minimal travel (occasional industry meetings or training opportunities). The role has a moderate to high degree of variability - you'll need to adapt to urgent billing needs, month-end deadlines, changing payor requirements, and documentation issues that require immediate attention. You'll work in a professional office environment as part of the billing and finance team. The pace can be demanding, especially during month-end close and when addressing claim denials or appeals, but the work is essential to our organizational success.
If you're an experienced healthcare billing professional who takes pride in accuracy, understands home health or hospice reimbursement, and wants to ensure a mission-driven organization receives appropriate payment for quality care, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll be the person our teams depend on when something needs fixing, organizing, or improving - making a tangible impact on everyone's daily work environment.

Required Qualifications
Essential Skills
You're a resourceful problem-solver who can assess a maintenance issue, determine the best solution, and either fix it yourself or coordinate the right contractor to handle it. You take pride in keeping facilities looking professional and functioning properly, understanding that a well-maintained workspace helps everyone do their best work. You're organized and systematic, tracking work orders efficiently, following up to ensure completion, and maintaining clear documentation. You can juggle multiple requests across different locations, prioritizing urgent needs while keeping routine maintenance on track. You're comfortable working independently, spending significant time traveling between locations without daily direct supervision. You're self-motivated and take initiative - when you notice something that needs attention, you take care of it rather than waiting to be asked. You're adaptable and responsive, understanding that urgent maintenance issues can disrupt your planned schedule. You remain calm when emergencies arise, whether it's a plumbing issue, HVAC failure, or equipment malfunction requiring immediate attention. You communicate well with diverse stakeholders - employees reporting issues, contractors performing repairs, and leadership requesting facility improvements. You're professional, courteous, and focused on creating positive experiences even when addressing problems.
This role offers variety and independence - you'll work across multiple locations rather than being confined to one office, and you'll have the autonomy to manage your schedule and priorities. You'll see the direct results of your work in well-maintained facilities that support our healthcare mission. We provide training on our specific facilities and systems, opportunities to develop your maintenance and coordination skills, and a supportive environment where your contributions keep operations running smoothly.
Professional Growth:
This position requires moderate to high travel between company office locations on a regular basis. You'll spend your time traveling to various sites, conducting maintenance work, coordinating repairs, and responding to urgent facility needs. The role has a high degree of schedule disruption - routine is frequently interrupted by urgent maintenance issues, equipment failures, or unexpected facility problems requiring immediate attention. Flexibility and the ability to pivot quickly are essential to success in this role. Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), using tools and equipment, and working in varied conditions including potentially uncomfortable temperatures when HVAC systems need repair.
If you're a hands-on problem-solver who takes pride in maintaining professional, functional workspaces and enjoys the variety of working across multiple locations, we'd love to hear from you.

Manage Maintenance Operations
Maintain Equipment and Systems
Coordinate with Vendors and Contractors
Support Facility Operations
Ensure Compliance and Safety

Essential Skills
You're a creative problem-solver who sees possibilities where others see limitations. When a patient can't grip a fork, you don't just prescribe an adaptive utensil - you assess their hand function, consider their specific needs and preferences, and develop a comprehensive approach that might include strengthening exercises, modified techniques, and the right assistive device.
You're passionate about meaningful occupation - understanding that being able to button a shirt or cook a simple meal isn't just about physical function, it's about dignity, independence, and quality of life. You find deep satisfaction in the small victories that mean everything to your patients.
You excel at teaching and can break down complex tasks into manageable steps. You're patient and encouraging, celebrating progress while continuing to challenge patients toward greater independence. You understand that your success is measured not by how many visits you make, but by how well patients can function after you're gone.
You're comfortable with the autonomy of home health practice - managing your schedule, making clinical decisions independently, and adapting your approach to each unique home environment. You're resourceful, able to create effective treatments with whatever is available in the patient's home.
Home health occupational therapy offers unparalleled opportunities for meaningful, creative practice. You'll have the time to truly understand each patient's goals, the freedom to design innovative treatment approaches, and the privilege of seeing remarkable functional gains that transform lives.
We provide comprehensive orientation, ongoing clinical support from experienced managers, and opportunities for professional development. You'll work with a collaborative team that values your expertise in helping patients regain independence in the activities that matter most to them.
Professional Growth:
This position requires daily travel to patient homes and residential facilities within your service area, with occasional office meetings. You'll work independently during home visits while staying connected to your care team through regular communication and care conferences.
Schedule flexibility is important as you'll adapt to patient needs, new admissions, and changing conditions. Most visits occur during standard business hours, though some flexibility for patient availability may be needed. Physical demands include standing, bending, demonstrating activities, and occasionally assisting with patient mobility.
If you're a licensed occupational therapist who wants the creativity and autonomy of home health practice and the satisfaction of helping patients reclaim their ability to perform meaningful daily activities, we'd love to hear from you.
