Major League Baseball is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team to help shape the future vision of baseball and deliver engaging fan experiences across every touch point of the fan journey. From going to a game, experiencing it live or through our digital products, we touch it all. Although we all focus on specific things, the boundaries between teams are permeable, so you can certainly expect to collaborate with other Designers on a broad set of challenges that don’t fall neatly into the Product Design category.
The Product Design team at MLB works across the entire fan journey - from primary research with the fans and clubs, in-park experiences, websites, apps, games, streaming and interactive products. Paying attention to the trends shaping sports and media, while constantly raising the bar on entertainment and delight for every aspect of the MLB experience. We do this through the practice of a fan focused approach to Product Design, investing in design systems and content tooling, UX writing, and design research.
Major League Baseball is dedicated to reimagining the fan experience. We believe the opportunity ahead of us requires skills in understanding fans, thoughtful consideration of every aspect of the experience, and cranking up delight for every touchpoint—in short, design. That’s where you come in.
Our mission is simple: To change the way fans interact with, enjoy, and watch the game of baseball.

The Jackie Robinson Training Complex (JRTC) serves as a year-round hub of Major League Baseball (MLB) amateur development initiatives and events designed to diversify and strengthen the talent pipelines of baseball and softball. After assuming operation of the facility in January 2019, MLB designated the complex as the permanent home to several of its signature youth-focused events and programs, such as the Nike RBI World Series and the Hank Aaron Invitational, which teach players how to succeed on the field, in the classroom, and in their communities. The historic facility, formerly known as Dodgertown, served as the Spring Training home of the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers for 60 years. Dodgertown opened in 1948 as the first racially integrated MLB Spring Training site in the South. On April 2, 2019, MLB renamed the facility the Jackie Robinson Training Complex in honor of its trailblazing namesake. The JRTC is a designated Florida Heritage Landmark and the only sports property on the U.S. Civil Rights Trail.
