As an Acquisition Lead for EMEA, will be entrusted with designing, deploying, and optimizing the host acquisition strategy across EMEA markets. You will lead a growing team of acquisition specialists, coordinate cross-functional efforts, and ensure we hit ambitious growth targets across the region. Your leadership will be critical to scaling our supply footprint and maximizing the impact of every acquisition channel — from FTEs and vendors to paid and organic marketing.

A Typical Day: 

Your day to day activities will be focused on accelerating our acquisition efforts, meeting our goals for New Active Listings on the platform. To reach those objectives, there are several important activities to be performed: 

• Define and own the acquisition strategy for each EMEA market, in close partnership with the Regional Director, Territory Managers and cross-functional partners, ensuring alignment with regional and market-level goals.

This position is Canada - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. The Difference You Will Make

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for converting leads into net‑new supply to support new-market launches and at pace to hit quarterly goals. Working the full sales funnel, you will proactively turn cold leads into warm sales opportunities helping to build the Hotels category’s market presence in the process through collaboration with other teams. This includes partnering, strategizing, and running daily operations directly with independent, boutique hotels , and ensuring that Airbnb always has the best hotel inventory and deals available  to our guests.

This role is based in Paris (hybrid, 2-3 days a week in the office).  It will start off as a 12-month FTC with the potential for conversion depending on individual performance. 

A Typical Day

• Meet and exceed KPIs by owning the performance and success of assigned region
• Prospect new potential hotels through external research, networking, and use of Airbnb tools
• Securing new hotels involves targeted sales strategies and negotiating and closing the deals
• Expertly position and communicate Airbnb’s value proposition to new partners via phone, email, and in-person
• Add net new hotels by qualifying and moving leads through the funnel as quickly as possible, achieving defined quarterly goals
• Find supply in and launch new markets: Own market launches including supporting lead generation and coordinating cross functionally
• Support hotel onboarding as needed from won sales opportunities
• Implement scalable strategies that drive maximum business impact across a wide range of hotel partners
• Effectively promote and build strong relationships with hotel and serviced apartment partners by demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of our platforms and confidently pitching their value

Your Expertise

• 6+ years of professional experience, preferably in a fast growing startup tech or hospitality company working in sales and/or account management
• Previous hospitality experience is a plus
• Strong language proficiency in both English and French
• The ability to get things done with constantly changing priorities, projects and deadlines
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills; detail-oriented but moves fast
• Ability to establish strong relationships with and influence partners 
• Capacity to balance day-to-day responsibilities with longer-term strategic execution
• You’re a quick learner and you’re fearless about doing whatever it takes to get the job done, even if it means making mistakes along the way

Dans ce rôle, vous façonnerez la croissance et la performance de l'activité Logements d'Airbnb au Canada. • Diriger et inspirer une équipe de gestionnaires et d'associés de marché pour accroître l'offre de logements Airbnb au Canada en élargissant les partenariats avec des hôtes de tous types et en générant des résultats exceptionnels pour les entreprises et les voyageurs.
• Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le directeur ou la directrice nationale pour exécuter les plans stratégiques nationaux en veillant à l'alignement entre l'exécution sur le marché local et les priorités commerciales nationales.
• Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des stratégies d'acquisition pour instaurer de nouvelles offres de haute qualité sur Airbnb en développant des programmes innovants, des projets pilotes et des initiatives locales pour atteindre des segments et des marchés inexploités.
• Expérimenter de façon audacieuse pour débloquer de nouvelles sources d'approvisionnement : mesurer les résultats, affiner rapidement et transformer les stratégies éprouvées en manuels qui alimentent la croissance d'Airbnb au Canada et ailleurs.
• Guider les stratégies au niveau territorial pour l'acquisition, l'optimisation et la qualité des hôtes en dirigeant les équipes pour adapter leur approche en fonction de la maturité du marché et de la segmentation des hôtes.
• Collaborer de manière transversale avec les responsables de l'approvisionnement, du marketing, des opérations de revenus, des politiques et des produits pour lancer des initiatives qui améliorent la performance des hôtes et accélèrent la croissance de l'offre.
• Surveiller et prendre en main les performances de l'entreprise en veillant à ce que les marchés respectent les indicateurs de performance clés en matière de revenus, d'offre et de qualité, tout en obtenant des résultats durables qui soutiennent les objectifs plus larges d'Airbnb.
• Identifier les tendances et les opportunités du marché en fournissant des solutions pour surmonter les obstacles et tirer parti de la demande émergente ou des changements en matière de réglementation.

Votre expertise :

• Avoir plus de 10 ans d'expérience dans les opérations mondiales, le développement commercial ou la gestion de marché, avec plus de 3 ans dans un rôle de direction en gestion et en développement d'équipes.
• Avoir une expertise approfondie du marché et une solide compréhension du paysage canadien du voyage et de l'hôtellerie, avec une expérience dans la croissance locale et l'engagement communautaire.
• Être un·e leader audacieux·se, compatissant·e et axé·e sur l'action qui aime agir et qui a une capacité avérée à développer, encadrer et responsabiliser des équipes hautement performantes.
