Sobre esta vaga de Senior Loan Processor (AU Mortgage) - Mercury na D2B
Position : Senior Loan Processor
Salary : $2,000 AUD / month
Working Hours & Conditions : AU Business Hours
ABOUT THE COMPANY:
The client is a high-performing Australian mortgage brokerage dedicated to providing tailored finance solutions—ranging from residential and self-employed lending to SMSF and commercial finance.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are currently scaling operations and looking for a highly capable, autonomous Senior Mortgage Loan Processor to join as our core operational right hand. This is a foundational role within the business for an experienced processor who takes pride in owning the end-to-end file pipeline, with long-term potential to expand responsibilities as the team grows.
You will take complete ownership of the end-to-end residential loan processing workflow, freeing up the Principal Broker to focus on high-level client strategy, referral partner relationships, and business growth. We deal with a high volume of complex files, including self-employed clients, company structures, and business owners.
We need someone who can hit the ground running with minimal hand-holding. You should be comfortable reading complex financial documents, navigating lender portals, and working comfortably within an evolving, tech-forward environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. End-to-End Loan Processing & File Preparation
- Manage loan applications from initial document collection through to settlement.
- Review and analyze complex income documents—including personal tax returns, company financial statements, ATO notices of assessment (NOA), and profit & loss statements.
- Fact-check data, run calculations, and ensure files comply with Best Interest Duty (BID) and lender requirements.
- Package and submit clean, fully documented loan applications to lenders via ApplyOnline / LIXI.
- Actively track, manage, and clear lender MIRs (More Information Required) to push applications swiftly through to formal approval.
2. Portfolio Management & Rate Reviews
- Conduct proactive rate reviews and lodge repricing requests with existing lenders to ensure clients maintain competitive interest rates.
- Pull regular portfolio reports to identify clients due for annual reviews or fixed-rate expiry follow-ups.
- Draft and send templated client emails regarding pricing outcomes, rate changes, and refinancing opportunities.
3. Workflow & Admin Support
- Maintain accurate CRM data and status updates within Connective Mercury / Nexus.
- Assist in organizing client reviews and booking follow-up appointments for the Principal Broker.
- Collaborate with the Principal Broker to document, refine, and optimize repeatable processing workflows using video (Loom) and modern AI tools.
Requirements
Non-Negotiables (Must-Haves)
- Minimum 2+ years of direct experience in Australian residential mortgage loan processing.
- Proven ability to read and analyze self-employed income documents, including business financial statements and complex tax returns.
- Proficiency with Connective CRM tools (Connective Mercury or Connective Nexus platform experience highly preferred).
- Deep understanding of Australian lender policies, ApplyOnline, and standard broking compliance (BID).
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills (comfortable drafting client-facing emails and liaising with Australian lender BDMs/credit assessors).
- Self-directed mindset: able to problem-solve independently and operate effectively in a lean, fast-moving environment.
Nice-to-Haves
- Prior experience handling SMSF (Self-Managed Super Fund) mortgage applications or exposure to commercial/asset finance files.
- Familiarity with modern productivity tools, including Loom video SOPs and AI-assisted workflow tools.
Benefits
What We Offer & Business Environment

- Competitive Compensation: Competitive offshore salary packaged based on relevant Australian broking experience.
- Stability: Stable, long-term full-time role aligned with standard Australian business hours.
