Are you ready to take the next big step in your hospitality career? Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe is seeking a hardworking and driven individual for our culinary team- a cook who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do and shares our passion for service excellence!
What are we looking for?
An individual who is passionate about cuisine! Attention to detail and strong work ethic are required in this position
A genuine, caring, and collaborative professional with a strong passion for hospitality and a natural ability to connect authentically with others
Demonstrates integrity and accountability in all actions and exhibits confidence when making decisions to deliver a luxury-level experience
Self-motivated, able to work well independently, and consistently takes initiative
What would you bring to the table?
3+ years of experience in a similar kitchen/hotel operation
High school education, cooking school, or culinary institute education preferred
Flexible schedule- availability to work evenings/nights, weekends, and holidays
Proficiency in English
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to stand and move around the kitchen for the entire shift
What would your job responsibilities be?
Oversee daily operations of the assigned kitchen station, ensuring efficiency and consistency
Assist in the development and preparation of menu items and seasonal specials for the pastry department
Execute and complete all daily dessert production according to established recipes and standards
Communicate effectively with the Pastry Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, and Executive Chef regarding menu updates, operational issues, and inventory shortages
Adhere to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines to maintain high-quality production and visual excellence of desserts and pastries
Properly label, store, and organize all ingredients and products at the end of each shift
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with health and safety standards
Support management and team members by completing additional tasks and special projects as assigned
Follow established service standards to ensure timely and high-quality food delivery to guests
