Sobre esta vaga de Paid Media and Creative Specialist (027-01189) na Hunt St
Looking for Philippines-based candidates
Job Role: Paid Media and Creative Specialist
Compensation range: $2,000 AUD - $2,800 AUD / Monthly
Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement
Work Schedule: This role is designed to support the North American commercial business and AU business hours for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.
Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.
Who The Client Is: Born from a passion for adventure and a relentless pursuit of comfort, we create premium performance apparel designed to help people get more out of every outdoor experience. By combining natural fibers with technical innovation, our products deliver exceptional softness, breathability, moisture management, and temperature regulation in all conditions. Whether exploring alpine environments, tackling rugged trails, or embracing everyday adventures, our focus is simple: designing high-performance gear that feels better, lasts longer, and allows you to move with confidence wherever your journey takes you.
Role Overview: Paid Media & Creative Performance Specialist to develop our seasonal performance strategy and execute the tactical initiatives required to deliver against clearly defined commercial targets, for our premium merino wool outdoor apparel brand across Australia and North America (US & Canada). There's also a chance the role will extend to our Europe accounts down the track, though that's not yet confirmed.
You'll take creative assets from our content team — photography, video, campaign collateral — and turn them into strong, well-optimised ads across Meta and Google. Alongside ROAS, we'd like campaigns optimised against MER (Marketing Efficiency Ratio) so we get a clear read on overall marketing efficiency rather than platform-reported numbers alone.
You'll work day-to-day with our eCommerce and Marketing Manager to keep paid media aligned with inventory, seasonal campaigns, product launches and key moments of the company’s calendar — across both AU and North America.
Key Responsibilities:
PAID MEDIA MANAGEMENT
- Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Meta, Google and other relevant channels across AU and North America.
- Optimise campaigns against both ROAS and MER (Marketing Efficiency Ratio), keeping an eye on overall marketing efficiency rather than platform metrics alone.
- Own the paid media budget end-to-end — allocating spend across regions and channels, using profitability signals such as margin and inventory position to guide decisions, and defending those decisions with data.
- Own the full-funnel paid architecture — from prospecting through to retargeting — rather than just executing individual campaigns.
- Identify opportunities to scale winning campaigns while reducing acquisition costs, and build a strong retargeting strategy that grows customer lifetime value.
- Keep a proactive eye on competitor activity and market trends, feeding that intelligence back into strategy rather than only optimising what's already live.
- Stay ahead of platform updates and emerging paid media best practice, including AI-driven optimisation tools (e.g. Meta Advantage+/AI), and continually test new approaches to improve performance.
CREATIVE PERFORMANCE, STRATEGY & ASSET SUPPORT
- Take creative assets (photography, video, campaign collateral) from our content and design team and turn them into the best-performing ads across Meta and Google.
- Analyse ad creative performance to identify winning hooks, messaging, offers and formats, and feed those insights back into the creative process.
- Prepare clear, actionable creative briefs for designers, videographers and UGC creators based on performance data and upcoming campaign needs.
- Hands-on graphic design capability is highly valued — able to adapt, resize, and refresh creative assets (static and light video edits) for different placements and tests without always relying on the design team.
- Build a repeatable creative testing framework that drives ongoing performance improvement across all markets.
CAMPAIGN & SEASONAL ALIGNMENT
- Work day-to-day with the Marketing & eCommerce Manager team to align paid media with inventory levels, website changes, product launches and key strategic moments through the season.
- Build season-specific strategies for each region — recognising that AU and North America hit their peak and quiet periods at opposite times of year, and adjusting spend and targeting accordingly.
- Support major sales events, promotional periods and new product launches with campaigns planned ahead of key dates.
CUSTOMER SEGMENTATION, RETARGETING
- Build distinct paid and retargeting strategies for new customers versus repeat/existing customers, recognising that acquisition and retention require different messaging, offers and channels.
- Design retargeting strategies that build customer lifetime value, not just short-term conversion.
- Work within Klaviyo to help segment our customer base and build flows targeting specific groups such as past/lapsed spenders, VIPs and high-LTV customers, in coordination with paid media activity.
- Use segmentation and first-party data to inform audience strategy across Meta and Google.
REPORTING & ANALYSIS
- Produce fortnightly reporting on campaign performance, covering ROAS, MER, CAC, CPA, CTR, CPC and conversion rate.
- Identify audience segments, customer behaviours and purchasing trends across AU and North America.
- Monitor attribution and conversion data using GA4 and other analytics platforms.
- Provide clear, actionable recommendations — not just data — to improve overall marketing performance.
ECOMMERCE GROWTH & CONVERSION OPTIMISATION
- Work closely with the eCommerce Manager to improve conversion rates across landing pages and product campaigns.
- Support new product launches, seasonal campaigns and promotional activity with a joined-up view of site, inventory and paid media.
- Contribute ideas that improve the customer journey from first click through to purchase and beyond.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience managing paid advertising campaigns for eCommerce or consumer brands, including experience across both Australian and North American (US & Canada) markets. Europe experience is a bonus but not required.
- Strong experience with Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, including Meta's AI/Advantage+ optimisation tools.
- Working knowledge of Klaviyo, including audience segmentation and flow building.
- Experience with Shopify and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
- Understanding of Marketing Efficiency Ratio (MER), alongside standard ROAS/CPA metrics.
- Graphic design skills (e.g. Canva, Photoshop, or similar) and comfort adapting creative assets for paid social.
- Experience analysing creative performance and translating it into clear creative recommendations and briefs.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Highly Regarded
- UGC creator management experience.
- Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) experience.
- Confident use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or MetaAI in day-to-day workflow.
- Experience with fashion, lifestyle, sporting goods or outdoor retail brands.
Work Arrangement & Expectations:
This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:
- Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work
- Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”)
