We wish to complement our existing team with experienced Horizontal Directional Drill Operators for our Water/Civil Projects within our Fulton Hogan Trenchless Technologies business. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout. In this role you'll be responsible for:

• Operation of Horizontal Directional Drills
• Experience using vacuum excavation units and excavators also beneficial
• Set up of job sites in accordance with established safety and environmental requirements
• Interpreting BYDA plans and locating underground assets before works commence
• Completing JSEAs and Pre-Start forms
• Maintenance of site vehicles and plant to ensure they are kept clean and in safe working order
• Reporting day to day productivity and issues through to engineers and supervisors.

How you'll connect to the role:

• HR drivers licence (manual preferred)
• Experience operating Vermeer drill rigs 10x15, 20x22, 23x30, and up to 60,000lbs
• Experienced in using Digi Track locating systems (F5 Falcon +)
• A good understanding of drill fluid requirements for different ground conditions
• Experience in reaming / opening holes in various ground conditions
• Ambitious and driven personality
• Adopting and driving Fulton Hogan's Living Safely 2.0 culture.
