Job Description Summary
This role is responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting for KTC, with a strong focus on operational cash flow management, billing/collections, and financial forecasting. The position partners closely with business leaders and functional teams across the Gulf region to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and support for profitability initiatives.Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Cash & Billing Management: Manage operational cash flow, billings (internal/external), collections, past due tracking, and bank reconciliations
- Planning & Forecasting: Prepare 3-year business plans, budgets, and forecasts in collaboration with business leaders; conduct pacing and early-read analysis
- Performance Analysis: Analyze profitability and cash generation performance, propose corrective action plans, and support cost-out/productivity initiatives
- Reporting: Provide P&L and corporate reporting, monitor variances, and report discrepancies to CPM and PFM teams
- Project & Governance: Monitor PMX projects, review/approve EV project markups, track unbilled projects (WIP/ECA), and coordinate PMX upside allocation via Unify
- Compliance & Close: Perform balance sheet reconciliations across three countries per GE and Kuwaiti governance standards; manage month-end/quarter-end close activities
- Statutory & Stakeholder Engagement: Support statutory filings (GEGS & GEII); participate in weekly SOF management calls and liaise with GE Treasury and Gas Power FP&A teams
- Reports/Coordinates with: CPM team, PFM team, Alpha team, Statutory team, Gas Power FP&A team, GE Treasury.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in FP&A or a similar role
- Advanced technical skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint to analyze information to build reports and presentation
- Strong communication skills in Arabic & English, both verbal and written
