Job Role: Digital Marketing Manager

Compensation range: $2,000 AUD - $2,500 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: Our client is a founder-led performance marketing business that partners with fast-growing e-commerce and consumer brands across multiple markets. The business specialises in paid advertising across Meta and Google, working closely with clients as an extension of their internal marketing teams rather than operating as a traditional agency.

The business is in an exciting growth phase, with this position being created as a key addition to the team. You'll have the opportunity to help build the systems and processes behind the advertising function while working closely with the founder on campaign and creative strategy.

Role Overview: We are looking for a hands-on Digital Marketing Manager who can take ownership of day-to-day paid advertising across Meta and Google Ads.

You'll initially learn the client's campaign process end-to-end, then take responsibility for ad trafficking, campaign monitoring and optimisation. As you become familiar with the process, you'll also help build SOPs and documentation so the business can scale efficiently.

This role is ideal for someone who is already comfortable inside advertising platforms, enjoys analysing performance and making decisions independently, and actively uses AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to work faster, research ideas and solve problems.

You'll work closely with the founder on creative strategy and have the opportunity to help shape the systems and processes of a growing performance marketing business.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Set up, manage and maintain Meta and Google Ads campaigns using creative assets supplied by clients.
• Handle day-to-day ad trafficking, campaign monitoring and optimisation.
• Review campaign performance and make data-informed adjustments to budgets, targeting, creative and other campaign variables.
• Monitor campaigns carefully across different markets, audiences and messaging requirements.
• Work with the founder on creative strategy and provide input based on campaign performance and audience response.
• Build and refine SOPs, checklists and documentation for campaign setup, trafficking and optimisation.
• Identify opportunities to improve campaign processes and make the advertising function more efficient.
• Use ChatGPT, Claude and other AI tools as part of your daily workflow for research, analysis, copy development, problem-solving and process improvement.
• Help adapt advertising messaging and campaign requirements across different countries and audiences.
• Take ownership of assigned goals and work independently to determine the steps required to achieve them.

Requirements

Required skills:

• Hands-on experience and results with Meta Ads and/or Google Ads, ideally in an agency or media-buying environment
• Sharp attention to detail — comfortable managing precise, market-specific messaging across multiple countries and audiences
• A natural curiosity for AI tools, with a track record of using them to work smarter
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• A proactive, ownership mindset — someone who takes a goal and figures out the best way to achieve it

Nice to have:

• Exposure to creative strategy or ad copywriting
• Familiarity with TikTok Ads
• Experience working directly with international or multi-country clients
