The Four Seasons Hotel Seoul is looking for Executive Club Assistant Manager, who shares a passion for excellence and who infuse enthusiasm into everything they do. We are looking for a candidate that is dedicated to creating personalized experiences and lasting memories for our guests. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Rooms.

Education

A university degree or equivalent experience required

Experience

Minimum of 2 years prior experience in a department head role required in hospitality, service or luxury industry

Desired Skills

• Hospitality management degree or similar preferred.
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills required.
• Must have solid knowledge of hotel operations, including proficiency in hotel property management systems.  Knowledge of Opera preferred.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills are essential, with an outstanding record of coaching and developing teams.
• Must be able to work with flexible hours of schedule.
• F&B knowledge (Fine Dining) preferred.
• Above average communication skills - verbal and written- required. Knowledge of other language(s) preferred.

Eligibility

• Demonstrated ability to successfully develop someone without direct reporting line
• Previously demonstrated success and credibility in providing support on corporate projects, or at another Four Seasons property

Key Functions

• Manages the Executive Club team, trains and schedules the staff (Roster). Conducts Performance Evaluations and disciplines staff when required
• Coordinates and liaises with various departments to ensure the hotel provides highest level guest experiences
• Coordinates and manages the day-to-day operations; ensure the, VIP / applicable guest recognition programs are fully adhered to and running smoothly within the Hotel
• Coordinates with Kitchen team to provide Food Presentation at the highest level of quality (Breakfast, Afternoon Tea, and Evening Cocktail).
• Resolves customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Interaction with guest will be in person and by phone.
• Accepts reservations, changes and cancellations in the absence of Reservations Department Staff.  Can answer guest calls and direct them appropriately in the absence of a Core Agent.
• Utilizes a variety of computer systems to check guests in and out, run daily reports and select and block rooms for arriving guests.
• Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

Key Expectations

• Regularly communicates with Director of Rooms on promotions and changes of operation.
• Maintains confidentiality about the development and progress of Housekeeping Management Team.
• Assures all financial aspects (F&B, Labor cost) are met while maintaining the best quality.
• Conducts orientation for new managers and supervisors.

• Must already possess valid work authorization in South Korea.
