Description:

Architect and develop mission-critical software for a next-generation automated oligo synthesizer, enabling precise control of mechanical, fluidic, and electrical systems. You’ll own the full-stack software infrastructure, from low-level hardware communication (USB/SPI/serial) and embedded firmware integration to GUI design, data analysis tools, and database management — ensuring seamless operation for end-user scientists.

Responsibilities:

Own the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for instrument control software: design, implement, debug, test, and deploy across Java/Python/C++ codebases.

Modernize and refactor legacy systems while ensuring backward compatibility with low level software + embedded firmware (custom PCB controller) and hardware messaging protocols.

Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, scientists, and IT to translate user feedback into scalable software improvements (UI/UX, performance, reliability).

Develop data analysis pipelines (Python scripts, databases) and real-time monitoring tools for high-speed acquisition and process optimization.

Act as SME for software architecture: document APIs, mentor junior engineers, and align technical decisions with long-term product roadmaps.

Qualifications:

Expertise in:

What We're Looking For

Lightning AI is seeking a GPU & Compute Infrastructure Engineer to join our Infrastructure Engineering team.

In this role, you will own image management, system diagnostics, and validation across large-scale bare-metal compute infrastructure, with a particular focus on GPU-enabled systems. You will work at the intersection of hardware, systems, and software—developing automation, improving reliability, and enabling efficient cluster bring-up for AI/ML and HPC workloads.

You will play a key role in owning and evolving our image pipeline, running validation environments and test clusters, and supporting both system-level and GPU hardware qualification. Job Description

We're looking for a principal-level engineer to serve as a technical leader for platform security across Anduril. This role combines deep expertise in cryptography, systems security, and secure architecture with the ability to drive security strategy across business lines and the platform. You'll own the design of Anduril's most critical security systems — cryptographic infrastructure for autonomous platforms, hardware root-of-trust architectures for robotic systems, secure communication protocols for contested environments — and you'll set the technical direction that shapes how security is built into every product. This is a role for someone who has designed and shipped security systems at the intersection of hardware, firmware, and software, and can lead others through complex technical decisions with lasting consequences.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision and architecture for platform security across Anduril's product ecosystem
• Design cryptographic systems, protocols, and key management architectures for autonomous and robotic platforms operating in contested and disconnected environments

• Proficient in two or more of: C++, Rust, Go

About the role

Anthropic’s model weights and training infrastructure are among the highest-value targets in the technology sector, facing nation-state, supply-chain interdiction, and insider threats that conventional enterprise security programs were not built to address. As Commercial Counsel, Infrastructure Security for Compute and Infrastructure at Anthropic, you’ll be the day-to-day legal partner to the Chief Security Officer’s infrastructure-security and the Governance, Risk and Compliance teams. You will own the contractual and regulatory layer of physical and facility security, hardware and supply-chain security, network security, vendor personnel and insider-risk flow-downs, and security regulatory and assurance.

You’ll work in close partnership with Anthropic teammates in Frontier, Product, Litigation, Employment, and Commercial Legal, in addition to specialized outside counsel. You will serve as the primary legal owner ensuring security requirements are in the contract before signature and that external work product aligns with Anthropic’s security posture and commercial objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and negotiate security design-basis and site-hardening specifications in build-to-suit, lease, and colo agreements (perimeter, access control, CCTV, intrusion detection); guard-force statements of work, post orders, and KPI regimes; visitor, contractor, and badging policy; and security clauses in shared-campus and multi-tenant arrangements

• Own provenance, anti-tamper, and chain-of-custody warranties in silicon, ODM, and OEM paper; trusted-supplier and country-of-origin restrictions; NDAA §889/§5949 and CHIPS-Act guardrail flow-downs; BIS/EAR advanced-computing and semiconductor export-control flow-downs and end-use/end-user certifications; firmware integrity, secure-boot, and golden-image escrow terms; secure logistics; counterfeit-part and grey-market controls; and secure decommissioning and certified media-destruction terms

• Draft security schedules in carrier and fiber agreements (encryption-in-transit, route integrity, lawful-intercept handling), and security obligations in peering agreements

• Set background-screening, training, and badge-revocation requirements for vendor and contractor personnel with site or hardware access, and flow Anthropic personnel-security standards into guard-force, security-integrator, and EPC vendor MSAs

• Support CFIUS and outbound-investment screening on infrastructure vendors and sites, provide NIST/ISO/SOC 2 physical-control evidence for customer and auditor assurance in partnership with security teams; and support security representations in customer contracts that reference physical infrastructure with Commercial Legal

• Work closely with specialized outside counsel, ensuring their work product aligns with Anthropic’s security and commercial objectives

• Serve as direct counsel to the CSO’s infrastructure-security organization, coordinating with Product Legal and Litigation on incident response, threat intelligence, law-enforcement and intelligence-community engagement, insider-threat governance, and model-weight security policy under Anthropic’s Responsible Scaling Policy

• Escalate novel structures or terms that create downstream risk for Anthropic’s security posture or operational flexibility; ensure security requirements accommodate AI-specific threats including hardware tamper, supply-chain interdiction, and high-value-target facility risk

• Monitor and assess the evolving regulatory landscape affecting security and data protection, identifying higher-risk obligations for the business and partnering with security to operationalize them through policies, controls, and compliance programs

• Advise on risk assessments, risk acceptance decisions, and reporting to leadership and the board; and review remediation commitments arising from assessments, customer audits and regulator inquiries. 

Minimum qualifications:

• JD and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar

• Fluency in security design-basis specifications, guard-force and access-control contracting, and how security schedules interact with build-to-suit, colo, procurement, and carrier agreements

The Tactical Recon and Strike (TRS) team at Anduril develops aerial small drones (Group 1-3) and all equipment to test, deploy and operate. Responsibilities

• Lead embedded-level technical onboarding for enterprise customers, including integration, troubleshooting, and enablement of Hubble’s SDK on Bluetooth® Low Energy-capable hardware.
• Develop chip-specific reference applications for popular SoCs and platforms supported by the Hubble Network.
• Support customer firmware teams via code reviews, debugging, debugging, driver configuration, and alignment on provisioning and OTA strategies.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Zephyr RTOS, Nordic SDK, or TI Simple Link is required.
• 3+ years of experience working directly with customers, supporting hardware bring-up in the field, or delivering production-grade embedded systems.
• Solid understanding of OTA workflows, power optimization, and memory-constrained environments.

We are looking for a Principal RTL Verification Engineer to join the Impinj Reader IC Engineering team and own the IP and SoC Verification Methodologies and Environment (tools, and flows) and Lead the SoC verification for Impinj’s next generation of Reader ICs. In this position, you will use your experience in RTL Verification to take Impinj’s next generation of Reader ICs from concept through to production.

• Own the development of a UVM based IP and SoC verification framework for Impinj’s next-generation RAIN RFID Reader ICs to assure A0 production worthy silicon
• Deliver a parameterized, modular, scalable verification, validation methodology and automation framework, enabling AMS and Digital IPs to be seamlessly integrated across different Reader IC SoC products (Handheld versus fixed Reader)

Description

Reusable launch systems are the key to seamlessly connecting Earth and space. Rockets can only be built on rock solid foundations, and for Vehicle Software, that foundation is our firmware. A predominant number of components on our launch vehicle are controlled by our in-house firmware, playing an essential role in the hardware software interface. As a Firmware Engineer, you will develop, test, and deploy code that can reliably support mission operations. 
 
If you are a software engineer that loves bits and bytes, moving electrons, and making fire, then this is the role for you. This job is multidisciplinary. Some days, you will be probing signals on a PCB, others you will be developing and testing new code, and others still you may be at the test site, installing and checking out a board being integrated onto an engine.

Responsibilities

• Own firmware for multiple avionics boards 
• Collaborate with other embedded software engineers to develop a scalable stack and maintain a coherent interface with adjacent systems

What You Bring

• 12+ years of professional software development experience, with extensive expertise in C/C++, Go, Python, or comparable systems programming languages, including significant experience building AI- and data-intensive systems.
• Deep, demonstrated expertise in embedded systems architecture, firmware integration, and device-level software engineering, combined with hands-on experience deploying and optimizing AI inference workloads on constrained edge platforms (MCUs, SoCs, NPUs).
• Proven experience designing, training, and operating machine learning models at scale, including ownership of data pipelines, model evaluation, and iterative improvement in production environments.

Therefore, we are leveraging Joint Development Manufacturers (JDMs) and other partners to scale our growth and deliver more products, faster, helping to save lives. In this high-visibility, leadership/technical hybrid role, you will lead the technical direction for our firmware development partners, and contribute to ensuring the partners’ success in scaling Axon’s development efforts.

As a Sr. Partner Engineer I, your leadership will span Axon and our partners. On the Axon side, you will be responsible for ensuring the Axon requirements to partners are technically rigorous, clear, and specific, and account for the needs of all adjacent stakeholders in Firmware (FW) success (e.g. hardware, application software). On the partner side, you will ensure that their FW deliverables integrate well into the broader Axon FW ecosystem, and meet Axon’s high bar for quality and security. From a technical contribution perspective, you’ll be responsible for getting JDM programs “across the finish line” by providing the occasional technical “glue” to meld Axon and JDM flows and subsystems. As products go to production, you will work with teams to ensure device provisioning and flashing methods are secure, and that sufficient runtime logging and monitoring metrics are in place to diagnose issues in-field.

This role will focus primarily on the development of 1-2 brand new IoT products focused on Axon’s goal to protect life. It is a hybridization of a (a) Firmware Engineer, (b) Technical Project Manager, (c) Product Manager. Some may see this role as a “Field Application Engineer (FAE)” or “Forward Deployed Engineer”, but in reverse - primarily helping our vendors to be successful in their contributions to Axon. This critical role sits in the Axon Platform Firmware Team and reports to the Partner Engineering Manager. The role will “connect the dots” to ensure that the Axon Platform Firmware mechanisms and expectations are reflected through the JDM vendors.

Firmware development environments primarily include a combination of Embedded Linux and custom Automated Test Systems (ATS).

• Track record of taking products to production with at least 8 years of experience

• Ability to read and understand Rust and Go is a plus, but not required
• Experience with some combination of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Cellular LTE or 5G, 900MHz wireless technologies
