Your Impact
You’ll be part of an engineering team, participate in multiple activities to develop features of Axon’s camera products from inception, through design, development, and release. You live and breathe device software that require high stability and fast, consistent performance. You love working with the latest open source technologies, and can leverage your system design skills to make the right technical decisions on a system that needs to be bullet-proof.
Not only can you drive decisions among competing engineering trade-offs, your empathy with customers allows you to intuit innovative solutions for our customer problems. You will be working closely with product managers and designers to ensure we are building the right solution for our customers. You also enjoy mentoring other engineers, and love to be a hands-on teacher helping to up level the engineers around you as of a senior engineer.

What You’ll Do
Work Location: This role is based out of our Ho Chi Minh Office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. Report to: Software Engineering Manager
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy new features for Axon’s camera systems in in a secure, privacy preserving way.
- Coordinate across teams on a breadth of platforms including desktop, mobile applications, and backend services.
- Set a high technical bar for the team through code and architecture design reviews.
- Participate in technical issues troubleshooting and solving of the team.
- Resolve ambiguity in product requirements potentially resolve conflicting requirements.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers.
What you bring
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics, or an equivalent technical field.
- 2 years experience of professional embedded software development. Understanding of computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, run-time analysis, object-oriented design and code quality verification.
- Solid programming skills, and programming language experience with C/C++, Golang.
- Experience with embedded Linux development, writing unit test, integration and/or system level tests.
- Strong in embedded software problems troubleshooting and solving skills.
- Have knowledge of embedded networking tech stack (network protocols TCP/IP, UDP, Bluetooth, DNS, WiFi, etc.).
- Ability of quick learning and adapt to new technologies and systems.
- Good English communication.

We are looking for a Middle to Senior iOS Engineer.
Your daily task:
- Develop and maintain core features across multiple NAVER WORKS services (Message, Mail, Drive, Notes, Survey, etc.)
- Ensure service stability and support ongoing operations

About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Core Wireless team, responsible for the design, development, deployment and maintenance of all mobile network infrastructure and associated applications. You'll work at the intersection of software engineering and mobile telecoms, with a particular focus on IoT.

Your Impact
Digital Evidence Management Systems are key to officer efficiency and Axon’s mobile applications, View and Capture, play critical roles in evidence acquisition. Axon View interacts with body-worn cameras to display live camera streams, or to view and tag previously-collected evidence. Axon Capture collects digital evidence (photos, videos, audio) and uploads to evidence.com for later processing.
As a iOS engineer on our team, you will be a key part of our next generation of mobile applications. You’ll ensure our codebases interact with platform SDKs related to photos, videos, audio, file management, networking, WiFi and bluetooth. You’ll write code that interacts with custom-made devices, such as Axon Body-Worn Cameras. You’ll ensure our codebase is performant and meets the highest data privacy standards.

- Design, implement and maintain features within Axon View, Axon Capture, and related shared libraries.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies.
- Collaborate within the Scrum team to ensure we hit our sprint goals, collaborate with other groups to ensure we build and ship the “right” thing.

- Solution Architecture: Design scalable, secure architectures for portfolio projects, integrating blockchain protocols (e.g., Ethereum, Solana), microservices, or AI pipelines as needed.
- Project Coordination: Partner with the Technical Project Manager to juggle multiple projects, aligning timelines, resources, and deliverables across payments, wallets, lending, data, AI, and asset management ventures.
- Hiring & Team Building: Collaborate with the executive team to define technical hiring needs, evaluate candidates, and build high-performing engineering teams for portfolio companies.
- Cross-Portfolio Synchronization: Ensure technical consistency and efficiency across diverse projects, resolving bottlenecks and maintaining project flow.
- Blockchain Expertise: Drive Web3-related initiatives, such as smart contract development, DeFi platforms, or wallet integrations, leveraging deep blockchain knowledge.
- Innovation & Problem Solving: Identify opportunities to incorporate emerging technologies (e.g., AI, decentralized systems) to enhance portfolio outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 8+ years in software engineering, with 4+ years in a technical leadership or lead engineer role. Strong blockchain experience (e.g., smart contracts, DeFi, wallet development) is preferred. Prior work in fintech, banking, insurtech, AI, or high-throughput systems is a strong plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Blockchain: Expertise in Solidity, Rust, or similar for smart contracts; familiarity with Web3 libraries (e.g., ethers.js, web3.js) and protocols (e.g., Ethereum, Solana).
- Backend: Proficiency in Node.js, Python, Go, or Rust for building scalable systems, APIs, and microservices.
- AI/Data: Experience with AI pipelines or data platforms (e.g., TensorFlow, Apache Kafka) is a plus.
- Frontend/Mobile: Basic familiarity with React/Native, Kotlin, or Swift to guide full stack and mobile engineers.
- Hands-On Coding: Proven ability to write high-quality code while balancing leadership responsibilities, particularly in Web3 or complex systems.
- Solution Architecture: Track record of designing robust, scalable architectures for blockchain, fintech, or AI-driven applications.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Experience managing small engineering teams, fostering collaboration, and mentoring junior developers.
- Multi-Project Management: Ability to juggle multiple projects, coordinating with project managers to ensure smooth delivery and consistent project flow.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills to report progress to executives, support project managers, and align technical and business stakeholders.
- Hiring Involvement: Familiarity with technical recruiting, candidate evaluation, and building diverse, high-performing teams.
