Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is hiring a full-time Multi-Unit General Manager to oversee two locations opening in our growing DMV market. This is a great opportunity for a highly experienced individual to work closely with the founding team of Van Leeuwen Ice Cream as they embark on their next stage of accelerated growth. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience operating food retail spaces (multi-unit or high volume single-unit), loves building and leading teams, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment (and loves ice cream!).

The Multi-Unit General Manager is responsible for the overall operation of their assigned store(s). This includes managing people operations, sales, inventory, and the guest service experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning stations for employees
• Maintains store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees

The Operations Associate is critical in the store team and is responsible for driving profitability and efficiency. • Execute inventory management processes effectively with a focus om maximizing inventory accuracy and reducing shrink

Veterinary Assistant (Emergency)

Reporting Structure: The veterinary assistant works under the direct supervision of the shift LVTs, shift DVMS, emergency services supervisor, veterinary practice manager, or medical director; who will indicate general assignments, limitations and priorities. Recurring assignments are performed independently. Deviations or unfamiliar situations are referred to the shift leader or supervisor. Completed work is reviewed for technical accuracy and compliance with established procedures.

Veterinary Assistant Objectives: The purpose of this position is to serve as a veterinary assistant for Bay Beach Veterinary Hospital's Emergency Service, to perform hands on duties related to patient care and treatment, and to provide miscellaneous support to the veterinary practice manager and health care team. These service functions include but are not limited to, care of hospitalized patients, triage of incoming patients, review of estimates and treatment plans, loading exam rooms, communicating with clients, notating, and invoicing treatments and supplies, set up for procedures and surgeries, assisting with blood draws, radiographs and other diagnostic procedures, general cleanliness and stocking of the hospital. This job requires a practical knowledge of hospital organization and services, the basic rules and regulations governing visitors and animal patient treatment, and a practical knowledge of the standard procedures, veterinary records and terminology used in the hospital. Regular attendance and timeliness are an essential function to fulfill the requirements of this position.

Exam Room Tasks:

• Always ensure cleanliness of exam rooms.

• Bring owners into the exam room.

• Explain treatment plans and estimates to the owners and answer questions. Refer questions you cannot answer to appropriate colleagues.

• Explain financial policies including payment options and how to apply for them.

• Liaise between the DVM and owner when appropriate.

• Thoroughly explain discharge instructions and medications to owners and answer questions. Refer questions you cannot answer to the appropriate colleagues.

• Fill non-controlled veterinary prescriptions with appropriate medication, provide routine instructions to owners concerning prescriptions for medications.

Patient Care Tasks:

• Possess sufficient strength and assertiveness to effectively restrain patients and ensure their safety and that of clients and personnel.

• Restrain patients in a manner that allows necessary work to be performed, minimizes stress to patients and ensures the safety of patients and people. Safely and effectively apply and use restraints such as muzzles, towels, and gloves. Apply low stress handling techniques.

• Maximize patient's comfort with a gentle reassuring manner. Understand that actions that would constitute animal cruelty under state or local law or hospital policy will be grounds for immediate disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

• Inform the shift supervisor and practice manager immediately of any bite or scratch wounds and follow hospital policy for seeking treatment.

• Accurately obtain vital signs including, but not limited to: rectal temperature, respiratory rate, heart/pulse rate, mucous membrane color, capillary refill time, and blood pressure.

• Understand the rules and application of basic standards of asepsis. Maintain IV catheters so fluids flow freely; flush and clean as needed.

• Set up and administer fluids both IV and SC.

• Using aseptic technique, draw up injectable medications according to DVM/LVT instructions.

• Properly fill and store non-injectable medications for hospitalized patients.

• Properly administer medications via oral, SC and IV {in IV catheter only) routes according to protocol and hospital policy.

• Dispose of used needles and syringes and other sharp objects as set forth by the practice policy and OSHA standards.

• Perform suture removals and nail trims.

• Assist with diagnostic procedures, including but not limited to: venipuncture, radiography, corneal stain, skin scrapings and other cytology samples, and ultrasonography.

• Obtain fecal and ear cytology samples.

• Perform routine ELISA tests, such as heartworm, feline viral, and parvo.

• Lay out/set up instruments that doctors will use during exams according to presenting complaint.

• Assist with routine and non-routine treatment procedures, including but not limited to: fluid administration, medication administration {injectable, oral and topical), IV catheter placement, abdominal and thoracentesis, urinary catheter placement, and bandage/splint placement.

• Prioritize tasks to maximize client satisfaction and patient health.

• Place appropriate bedding in patient cages and always ensure its cleanliness, changing when soiled.

• Monitor patients for vomit, blood, urine, and feces in cage. Clean patients and cage as needed. Save debris if unsure whether it should be examined. Note occurrences in patient record.

• Asses hospitalized patient's vital signs and record data appropriately, alerting DVM/LVT of any changed/out of normal range results.

• Monitor patients for changes in condition and alert DVM/LVT immediately.

• Know and recognize signs of pain and common methods of pain relief. Alert DVM/LVT to patient's pain/comfort level.

• Strictly follow isolation procedures and policies. Prevent contact between contagious animals and others. Properly disinfect the area and you using appropriate disinfectants and dilutions.

• Disinfect cages as soon as possible after patients are removed from them.

• Walk dogs individually on a leash according to directions and hospital policy and record eliminations appropriately in record.

• Prepare meals and feed animals according to treatment plans. Note appetite in record.

• Perform medical grooming including medicated baths, mat removal, and sanitary clips/baths.

• Wash, dry and store bedding, and towels belonging to the hospital. Maintain bedding in good repair.

• Assist with euthanasia procedures.

Emergency Care Tasks:

• Know and be able to perform basic life support procedures, including CPR, airway maintenance, and oxygen administration.

• Be up to date with the latest RECOVER CPR guidelines and procedures.

• Control bleeding using pressure bandages and tourniquets.

• Apply cooling techniques to heatstroke patients

• Be ready and available to assist and follow instructions in a calm and efficient manner.

• Know the location of the crash cart and be familiar with all its contents and their uses.

The Role

We are looking for a General Manager at RISE Dispensary to lead, manage, and inspire a diverse team in driving results and delivering memorable, positive consumer experiences. All dispensary activities related to the customer journey, inventory operations, safety & compliance, and team member experience are under your direction. With training, coaching and development, a team of Leaders and Team Members will grow under the General Manager’s leadership. The General Manager serves as an ambassador in delivering lasting social change in our communities.

Responsibilities 

Operations 

• Deliver direction, oversight, and execution of all dispensary operations. Ensure the dispensary is compliant with security, inventory, and local and state regulations.
• Drive revenue and profit through effective execution of programs, initiatives, and regionalized instore promotions. 
• Oversee and manage quality product inventory, financial records, and Seed to Sale compliance. 
• Maintain and enforce cash management handling protocols and daily reconciliation.
• Manage effective order & expense management processes aligned with store budgets. 
• Conduct monthly audits and scorecard business reviews to identify operational inefficiencies and process improvement opportunities

Experience 

• Coach Leaders and Team Members to consistently deliver memorable, positive in-store customer experiences. 
• Ensure “Leader on Duty” (LOD) presence is appropriately scheduled throughout the store. Coach Leaders to actively supervise, recognize team members and redirect behaviors during LOD shifts. 
• Drive revenue through a seamless omni-channel customer experience and lead teams to deliver a consistent experience across in-store, drive-thru, curbside & delivery. 
• Coach leadership team to deliver Loyalty goals, drive customer retention and repeat traffic. 
• Serve as a liaison to the local community and support community outreach events and initiatives. 

People 

• Build and retain a high-performing team through selecting the best talent and effective onboarding, training, and development. 
• Inspire a culture of engagement and performance through coaching, feedback, and recognition.  
• Motivate dispensary team to exceed revenue targets and key metrics, emphasizing team member behaviors, service techniques and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable business experience
• At least five years in a supervisory or management role in a retail setting, specifically with POS business operations. 
• Cannabis experience preferred
• Inventory control experience is required
• Meet the scheduling and availability requirements (i.e., ability to work a schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as mornings, days, nights, and weekends) to meet business needs 
• Must have reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance 
• Must be 21 years or older. 
• Must pass any and all required background checks. 
• Must possess a valid driver’s license or state ID. 
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal and company regulations for working in the industry.
• Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Green Thumb 
• Must have a solid understanding of the Cannabis laws, rules and regulations and passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws.

• Operate point of sale system, computer, and other office productivity machinery in order to use online programming and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications, and email 
• Prepare patient and/or customer orders by moving and placing products 
• Inspect and receive detailed information, such as patients' and/or customers' dates of birth, in-store or online orders, or inquiries 
• Move inventory and materials weighing up to 30 pounds independently

About The Role 

We’re looking for a Staff Product Manager to lead and evolve Koalafi’s Originations product: the end-to-end apply & checkout experiences that serve as the front door to financing for every customer. This is a high-impact role at the center of Koalafi’s strategy to accelerate growth by making it easier, faster, and more intuitive for consumers to finance their purchases across both online and in-store channels.  

This role is ideal for a product manager who thrives working at the intersection of strategy, execution, and deep cross-functional collaboration. You’ll set the direction for Originations by aligning diverse partners, from Risk and Compliance to Marketing and Sales, around a cohesive strategy that accelerates growth while maintaining a unified vision. 

What You’ll Do 

Define and drive the Originations roadmap 

• Lead product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for the Originations product as an engine for growth
• Develop the product strategy for apply & checkout flows that are reusable across diverse merchant and consumer contexts – such as a consumer’s mobile phone to a store owner’s point-of-sale system or e-commerce checkout integration 

Grow and optimize the Originations funnel 

• Drive continuous funnel optimization by identifying conversion opportunities using quantitative data and qualitative insights to ship rapid improvements while balancing profitability and compliance
• Grow Koalafi’s distribution across channels by partnering with cross-functional teams to design and ship frictionless experiences that work for both merchants and consumers 

Shape the product for rapid insight generation and experimentation 

• Partner with analytics and engineering to instrument the funnel, generate actionable insights, and run A/B tests to validate hypotheses and measure outcomes
• Mentor other PMs and establish best practices for experimentation and funnel analysis across the broader organization 

Champion the customer experience 

• Champion the customer, bringing curiosity and empathy to every decision to ensure the application experience meets real customer needs
• Conduct user research and map consumer and merchant journeys to uncover usability gaps and unmet needs 

Lead delivery as the embedded product manager for the Originations team 

• Partner continuously with engineering and design to define the what and the why, translating business opportunities and customer insights into user centric solutions, while empowering the team to determine the how
• Maintain a prioritized backlog with crisp epics and stories, clear acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes
• Partner with analysts and product marketers to define success metrics, ensure releases are instrumented, review post-launch outcomes, and align go-to-market strategy with top-of-funnel campaigns 

About You 

• 7+ years of product management experience, with a track record of owning application flows, onboarding funnels, checkout experiences, or other high-volume conversion-critical surfaces
• Growth-minded and highly analytical, with deep experience in funnel optimization, experimentation, and hypothesis-driven development
• Proficient with analytics and experimentation tools  
• Strong customer empathy and discovery skills
• Demonstrated judgment in balancing short-term business needs with long-term product health and scalability
• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams toward a common goal
• Excellent communicator who brings clarity and builds alignment across diverse stakeholders
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and able to create clarity, structure, and momentum over time

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience in fintech, lending, embedded finance, or consumer financial services—particularly in originations or application flow domains
• Familiarity with the tradeoffs between conversion optimization and credit risk management in lending contexts
• Experience with both e-commerce and in-store / point-of-sale product experiences
• Familiarity with multi-merchant or platform business models where the application experience must adapt to diverse merchant contexts
