WHAT YOU'LL DO
As an Enterprise Technology Support Engineer in our Sydney office, you’ll be pivotal in ensuring seamless technology operations across all departments. Your role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, aimed at delivering top-notch IT support and creating a technologically optimized work environment. Key aspects of your role include:
User support excellence: Serve as the primary contact for IT-related requests, incidents, and issues, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal business impact.
Relationship and trust building: Develop strong connections with users and key stakeholders, understanding their needs to maintain an optimised IT environment.
Lifecycle IT management: Handle the complete IT lifecycle for users, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a smooth start and finish to their tenure.
Proactive environment management: Implement alert systems and analyse trends to prevent IT issues, maintaining a stable and efficient work environment.
Process standardisation and self-service: Streamline IT processes and develop self-service resources, enabling users to solve common issues independently.
Security and compliance: Contribute to audits and day-to-day practices that keep the IT environment aligned with security standards and policies.
Projects: Contribute to projects that enhance the IT environment and user experience, prioritising impactful improvements.
Hardware and workplace IT: Oversee user-facing hardware and support IT setups for office expansions where applicable, ensuring technological readiness and productivity.
Enterprise IT solutions: Analyse and recommend solutions for user-facing technologies, collaborating with extended IT teams for seamless service delivery.
Your role is a blend of technical acumen and interpersonal skills, aimed at creating a resilient, user-friendly IT landscape that supports the company’s goals and enhances productivity.
Optiver’s Enterprise Technology Support Engineers focus on IT systems and applications that allow users to perform their daily work. We firmly believe in finding the right blend of functionality for our users and manageability for administrators. To that end, the person we seek will revel in finding that balance, and running systems that consistently work and work well.Technical proficiency
Solid foundation in Windows OS, Active Directory, AV/meeting-room setups, and troubleshooting across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers.
Proficient with SCCM, Intune, and a broad spectrum of user and collaboration technologies (e.g. Zoom, Slack, Confluence, Jira).
Operational familiarity with VMware, backup/datastore concepts, and basic network troubleshooting.
Experience
A minimum of 3 years in end-user support and enterprise operations, with strong experience in the Microsoft ecosystem (Windows OS, Office, AD, DNS, Group Policy, DHCP), end-user technologies, and related server-aware troubleshooting.
Experience with user access lifecycle, SOE/image concepts, and deployment tooling.
Soft skills
Passion for IT support and customer service; proactive, detail-oriented, strong documentation and change discipline.
Excellent written and verbal communication; team player and operational mindset.
Nice-to-have
Telephony, PowerShell, patching, Exchange user management, Atlassian admin, Linux/Python/SQL exposure, office fit-outs, remote teams.

The Team: Marketplace Quality Engineering
Every second, our bidder evaluates millions of ad opportunities across thousands of publishers and supply paths. Not all of that supply is created equal — some of it is duplicated, some is structurally inaccessible, and some degrades advertiser outcomes. The Marketplace Quality Engineering team exists to make sure our platform is buying the right impressions, not just more impressions.
We own the systems that assess, measure, and optimize supply quality across the programmatic ecosystem. Our work spans deduplication, supply path analysis, quality modeling, and the tooling that turns those signals into decisions at bid time. The problems are technically deep — think identity resolution across fragmented supply chains, statistical modeling to separate signal from noise, and real-time decisioning at platform scale — and they have direct, measurable impact on both advertiser outcomes and platform economics.
This is not theoretical work. When we ship a model update, spend distribution across the platform shifts. Our engineering decisions translate directly into tens of millions of dollars of measurable business impact. If you want to build systems where what you ship visibly matters, this is the team.
You will work with C# / .NET as a core strength, alongside Python and SQL where data and automation need it, and partner closely with product, data, and platform teams across time zones.
Who you are

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Measurement Upper Funnel engineering team is based in APAC, with members in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Sydney. Our Product Manager is based in West Coast, and we have a 30 mins virtual standup every morning to sync up. We are a distributed team by design and rely heavily on technology such as asynchronous messaging and video conferencing to stay informed and connected.
We have a highly productive technology team that enjoy a collaborative work environment that has involvement in end-to-end delivery of scalable technology solutions. We have a multi-cloud environment and we are going towards the microservices architecture.

Your Role
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer within our Sydney team, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of modern applications using both traditional and AI-augmented engineering practices. You will architect scalable solutions, guide technical decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure delivery excellence across client engagements.
This is a hands-on engineering role within a consulting environment, working directly with clients to deliver high-impact, scalable solutions.
You’ll be joining an AI-first engineering organisation, where GitHub Copilot, internal tooling, and prompt-driven development accelerate delivery and elevate engineering quality. You will leverage AI throughout your development workflow and help uplift AI capability across the team.
This role gives you the opportunity to take ownership of complex systems, influence architectural direction, and drive best practices across engineering squads. You’ll engage directly with clients, gather requirements, translate needs into technical solutions, and act as a trusted technical partner.
You will work in small, high-performing interdisciplinary teams that collaborate closely, with pair programming, weekly knowledge-sharing sessions, and a supportive engineering community.
