Technical Account Management (TAM) is a global team that owns Auth0 customer success within Okta’s broader Customer Success team. We collaborate with Auth0’s customers to share knowledge, and best practices and make recommendations to continuously innovate around identity and security. As our customer’s strategic identity coaches, we are Auth0 product experts, and we enable Auth0's worldwide growth by educating existing customers and ensuring they are happy and successful. We share our technical and product expertise with customers through presentations, demonstrations, technical evaluations, and ongoing recommendations on Auth0 and industry best practices. 

The Opportunity

A TAM specializing in enterprise identity, including the Auth0 product and adjacent technologies. The TAM will provide Okta’s customers with strategic technical guidance over the comprehensive suite of products and features available at Okta. They are held in high regard as a technical expert for how Okta’s solutions translate to business value. They are also held in high regard for their ability to understand the code that makes up identity authentication pipelines, Auth0, after all, is developer-friendly.

The TAM specialization calls for an understanding of hybrid scenarios that capitalize on Auth0’s ability to manage authentication, authorization, and lifecycle management capabilities for consumer SaaS, business-to-consumer (B2C), and general CIAM applications. The opportunity is that as an Auth0 TAM you will get to guide some of the world's largest companies in their strategic identity journey at the same time as being an Auth0 champion!

What you’ll be doing 

• Fully own the account management function as an Auth0 TAM. This includes the business and the technical side
• Advise customers on best practices and product adoption in a post-sales capacity
• Be comfortable with a number of personas including but not limited to CISO, Product Owner, CMO, developers, etc., with an account portfolio of strategic  accounts
• Have a deep interest in the security space and where the industry is headed particularly from a CIAM perspective.
• Earn customer trust by understanding their goals and use cases, and recommend best practices relating to process changes, product adoption, configuration, and additional features to meet requirements
• Maintain focus on increasing subscription adoption, customer satisfaction, and retention
• Review customer architectures and Auth0 configurations to ensure they are enhancing security posture and capturing ROI as Auth0 releases new features and functionality
• Establish strong personal relationships on key accounts with decision-makers and stakeholders
• Establish strong relationships internally, too as part of a larger collaborative team

• Participate in content creation for both internal and external enablement of staff and customers

What you’ll bring to the role

• 7+ years of total experience in information technology, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience as a Technical Account Manager (TAM) or comparable practitioner role in the IAM space
• Working proficiency in the following core IAM areas: 
• Technologies and protocols to support identity federation and robust access control models, including concepts such as SAML 2.0, WS-Federation, OAuth, OpenID Connect, etc.
• Legacy applications in a hybrid IT environment with non-standard applications (i.e. those that do not support modern identity federation protocols)
• Enterprise applications in the ecosystem to provide identity and attributes to applications or to harness an external application to help drive business processes (ITSM, HR, etc)
• Consumer and/or SaaS application deployments 
• Security and performance monitoring, and 3rd party signals integrations (SEIM, MDM, WAF, etc)
• Familiarity with IAM solution providers is strongly desired.
• Strong background in any of the following: Technical Account Management, Technical Consulting, Product Management, Solution Architect, or a similar role
• Understanding of common software development practices, including concepts such as SDLC, CI/CD, Containerization, etc. 
• Ability to code in Javascript
• Understanding of identity and surrounding technologies, including concepts such as encryption, PKI, RSA, etc.
• Strong business acumen, history of success owning enterprise segment customer relationships and escalations
• Excellent communication skills. Ability to set expectations and communicate goals and objectives with customers at various levels, from a developer to a CISO
• Ability to track and influence customer behavior and health metrics across a portfolio of accounts
• This position will be located in London or Barcelona and will have some travel required (under 50% of the time)
• BA/BS/MS or related discipline or equivalent work experience required

What you will do

• You partner with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to identify and mitigate security risks across our cloud, application, and AI/ML environments
• You lead security initiatives in your specialist area – whether that is AI/ML Security, DevSecOps, Application/Product Security, or Cloud Security – while staying curious and contributing across different domains
• You design, build, and operate security controls, automation, and tooling that scale with a fast-growing platform
• You drive threat modelling, secure design reviews, and risk assessments for new features, services, and infrastructure changes
• You detect, respond to, and investigate security incidents; own root cause analysis and drive post-incident improvements
• You translate complex security topics into clear, actionable language for technical and non-technical audiences, including C-level leadership

What you will need to succeed

• You bring 5+ years of hands-on security engineering (or equivalent) in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• You have a deep expertise in at least one domain: AI/ML Security, DevSecOps, Application/Product Security, or Cloud Security
• You bring a strong builder mindset: able to script, automate, write detections, and review architectures/designs

Role Overview:

Netskope is seeking a high-caliber Privacy Engineering Staff Engineer to bridge the gap between legal compliance, data protection technology, and core product engineering. This is a dual-impact role: you will be responsible for the technical "Privacy by Design" controls for the Netskope platform while serving as a strategic deputy to the Global Privacy & Data Protection Officer (DPO).

As the Strategic Deputy to the Global Privacy & Data Protection Officer (DPO), you move beyond task completion to achieve high-level organizational influence.

• Global Compliance Strategy: Support the execution of a multi-jurisdictional privacy program that anticipates the rapid evolution of global data protection laws.
• Board & Audit Influence: Translate complex technical privacy risks into compelling, quantifiable narratives for the Audit Committee and Board of Directors.
• Risk Governance: Oversee the operational maturity of our privacy program within LogicGate, ensuring a closed-loop system of accountability, audit readiness, and incident response.
• DPIA & Rights Leadership: Act as the technical authority for high-risk Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and ensure our Data Subject Rights (DSAR) engine operates at optimal efficiency.

• Component Design Review: Lead the privacy-first technical review of every new component within the Netskope platform, engaging with engineering at the "whiteboard phase" to eliminate risks before they reach production.
• PET Implementation: Direct the integration of Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) such as differential privacy, homomorphic encryption, and k-anonymity into the Netskope product suite.
• AI Governance Leadership: Hold a seat on the AI Governance Committee whilst supporting the AI Ambassador program to ensure that AI innovations are built on a foundation of responsible data use.
• Technical Data Defense: Enhance DLP, DSPM, and AI/ML-driven security within our AWS and corporate environments to set the "Gold Standard" for internal data protection.

Key Responsibilities

Product Privacy Engineering & PETs

• Architectural Oversight: Review all new component designs within the Netskope platform to ensure structural compliance with "Privacy by Design" principles.
• PET Integration: Lead the design and implementation of Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) such as differential privacy, homomorphic encryption, or k-anonymity within Netskope product features.
• Early Engagement: Act as a dedicated privacy consultant to product engineering teams during the ideation phase to identify and mitigate privacy risks before code is written.

Deputy Data Protection Officer (DPO) Functions

• Regulatory Support: Support the DPO in managing multi-jurisdictional compliance as the number of global privacy laws continues to rise.
• DPIA Leadership: Conduct and oversee Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for high-risk processing activities, ensuring they meet the standard of global regulations.
• Privacy Leadership: Engagement with Netskope customers and partners on privacy and data protection concerns. Provide executive leadership to CISO, Legal and Privacy teams for some of the largest and most prestigious organizations in the world.

Technical Data Protection & AI Governance

• Advanced Controls: Utilize DLP (Data Loss Prevention) and DSPM (Data Security Posture Management) to secure the corporate data lifecycle.
• AI/ML Security: Implement data protection strategies specifically for AI/ML workloads, managing risks associated with training data and model inference.
• AI Advocacy: Serve on the AI Governance Committee and support the AI Ambassador program, fostering a culture of responsible AI use across the organization.

Platform Management

• LogicGate Administration: Manage and optimize the privacy module within LogicGate to track risks, audits, and compliance tasks.
• Netskope Corp Tenant: Take administrative responsibility of the Netskope corporate tenant’s privacy controls, ensuring our own use of the platform is a "Gold Standard" for customers.

As a Director of Strategic Accounts (DSA) on the Tanium field sales team, you will be responsible for generating opportunities to position the Tanium platform within an assigned territory and/or accounts. You’ll be equally as comfortable with the CIO, CISO or VP Ops as you would hosting a room of Red Team members; from talking business benefits to bits and bytes. The successful DSA drives a superior customer experience by delivering technology solutions tailored to customer needs and is able to exceed their assigned quota.
