About the Role

The GRC analyst helps maintain A-LIGN’s management system as it relates to information security standards. In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination, maintenance, and improvement of A-LIGN’s corporate compliance program, including internal and external audits.

Responsibilities 

• Support information security compliance programs across applicable frameworks, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, FedRAMP, CMMC, and NIST 800-53/171
• Coordinate audit, assessment and testing activities with internal and external stakeholders
• Validate identified findings and nonconformities, manage remediation tracking, monitor resolution progress, and report status to stakeholders
• Review, update, and maintain information security documentation in accordance with applicable standards and organizational objectives
• Maintain and update the GRC platform (Optro) current with risk, control, and compliance data
• Assist with the implementation and ongoing management of data loss prevention (DLP) programs, including false positive identification, policy violations, incident monitoring and response coordination
• Support third-party risk management activities, including contractor oversight and vendor due diligence reviews
• Assist with client-issued security questionnaires and assessments
• Assist with risk management, vulnerability management, incident reviews, data disposal reviews, and BC/DR planning and testing
• Monitor and track employee completion of security training and awareness programs

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Business or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience

EXPERIENCE

• At least 1 year of IT security, governance, risk, or compliance-related experience
• Knowledge of security and risk frameworks
  • Preferred knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, FedRAMP, CMMC, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171
• Preferred: Knowledge of GRC tools (Optro, OneTrust, etc.)

CERTIFICATIONS

The Team/Role

The Fund Administration team supports the operational governance of Man's 300+ fund entities across several focused sub-teams. Core activities include fund financial statements production oversight, service provider management and governance, fund entity closures/liquidations, and oversight of third-party transfer agency activities.

Based in our Sofia office, this role offers structured training and mentorship, developing a comprehensive understanding of fund operations, governance, and operating frameworks. The role requires close collaboration with international colleagues, global stakeholders, and external service providers; a high level of spoken and written English is therefore essential.

Responsibilities

Your role will be dynamic, providing support across various sub-functions within the broader team. Responsibilities will broadly cover work on some, but not necessarily all, of the following areas:
 

Service Provider Management (SPM)

• Governance & Oversight Support: Provide administrative and analytical support to the team's broader governance and oversight activities, including service reviews, due diligence exercises, and performance monitoring across fund service providers.
• New Business & Change Management: Assist senior team members in managing the onboarding of new business and change initiatives with service providers, helping to ensure smooth transitions when new products are launched.
• Commercial Oversight: Support the commercial oversight function by completing administration fee reconciliations and verifying that fees are accurately reflected in systems in line with contractual terms. Assist in preparing fee analysis and flag discrepancies for resolution.
   

Fund Liquidations

• End-to-End Closure: Support the end-to-end fund closure and liquidation process, helping manage fund entities’ passage from the final Net Asset Value (NAV) through to strike-off or liquidator appointment.
• Asset Distributions: Support the coordination of final asset distributions to investors. This includes analysing accruals and reserves to be retained, and working with administrators and transfer agents to ensure the accurate and timely payment of liquidating distributions.
• Process Improvement: Help streamline and standardise liquidation processes across all fund structures, contributing to efforts to consolidate workflows into a single, structured approach.
   

Operations Business Management

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Support Man Group Operations’ departmental budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Reporting & MI: Assist in the production of regular and ad hoc internal reports and management information (MI) for senior management and committees. This includes data gathering, tracking of deliverables, formatting, and the escalation of issues.
• Class Actions: Support the operation of the class actions process, working with claims agents to gather and analyse data that facilitates business decisions on claims participation.
   

Client Operations (COPS) & Fund Financial Reporting (FFR) Support

• Provide planned and ad-hoc analytical and administrative support to both the Client Operations and Fund Financial Reporting teams, assisting with reporting cycles, tracking deliverables, and general cross-team initiatives as required.

• Educational Background: A strong academic background, holding a degree in a numerate discipline such as, financial, accounting, economics, or business.

The Team

The team is currently undergoing significant investment in order to rationalise the trading capability across AHL, Numeric and the Discretionary teams.  The engineering team works exceptionally closely with both the Trading Desk and the Execution Research team in order to design, build and maintain a world-class trading capability.  We have trading floors in London, Hong Kong, Boston and New York and are responsible for trading in excess of 8 trillion dollars annually.

Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Java Engineer you will be building the tools, platforms and algorithms that enable Man’s investment engines to drive forward their centralised global trading operation.

Your challenges will be varied and might involve building new execution algorithms, the platforms on which they run, simulation environments, intelligent order routing, connectivity to execution venues and brokers, tools for high touch and quant traders, monitoring capability, post-trade performance analysis and software to optimise all aspects of the trading lifecycle.

We are looking to hire talented software engineers across the experience spectrum, and previous experience with almost any asset class will be an advantage. You should have the enthusiasm for leveraging AI development tools to accelerate delivery and driving their adoption across the team.

Our Technology

Our systems are almost all running on Linux and most of our code is in Java, with some Python and TypeScript.

But our technology list is never static, we constantly evaluate new tools and libraries.

About the Role

The KYC Onboarding Analyst will collaborate closely with the KYC Team Lead, Director of Compliance and relevant stakeholders. This role includes executing the company's strategy in alignment with regulatory standards and industry benchmarks. The primary objective is to perform customer due diligence, implement Payhawk’s KYB/KYC protocols, evaluate documents and data submitted for corporate customer applications, detect fraudulent activities through client screening and monitoring, and address any additional requests as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review corporate client applications and perform due diligence of B2B customers from all markets.
• Monitor and evaluate customer verification documents. Support the due diligence process - initial and ongoing. Ensure complete and appropriate documentation is maintained. 
• PEP, Sanctions and adverse media screening of applicants, companies and their representatives.
• Report to MLRO any information related to potentially fraudulent activity.
• Review internal and external screening alerts and escalations for suspicious or fraudulent activity.
• Perform data review and analysis, as well as maintenance of all internal procedures and processes automation related to customer due diligence processes.
• Maintain a complete understanding of operational business processes, policies, and systems.
