The Team/Role

The Fund Administration team supports the operational governance of Man's 300+ fund entities across several focused sub-teams. Core activities include fund financial statements production oversight, service provider management and governance, fund entity closures/liquidations, and oversight of third-party transfer agency activities.

Based in our Sofia office, this role offers structured training and mentorship, developing a comprehensive understanding of fund operations, governance, and operating frameworks. The role requires close collaboration with international colleagues, global stakeholders, and external service providers; a high level of spoken and written English is therefore essential.

Responsibilities

Your role will be dynamic, providing support across various sub-functions within the broader team. Responsibilities will broadly cover work on some, but not necessarily all, of the following areas:
 

Service Provider Management (SPM)

• Governance & Oversight Support: Provide administrative and analytical support to the team's broader governance and oversight activities, including service reviews, due diligence exercises, and performance monitoring across fund service providers.
• New Business & Change Management: Assist senior team members in managing the onboarding of new business and change initiatives with service providers, helping to ensure smooth transitions when new products are launched.
• Commercial Oversight: Support the commercial oversight function by completing administration fee reconciliations and verifying that fees are accurately reflected in systems in line with contractual terms. Assist in preparing fee analysis and flag discrepancies for resolution.
   

Fund Liquidations

• End-to-End Closure: Support the end-to-end fund closure and liquidation process, helping manage fund entities’ passage from the final Net Asset Value (NAV) through to strike-off or liquidator appointment.
• Asset Distributions: Support the coordination of final asset distributions to investors. This includes analysing accruals and reserves to be retained, and working with administrators and transfer agents to ensure the accurate and timely payment of liquidating distributions.
• Process Improvement: Help streamline and standardise liquidation processes across all fund structures, contributing to efforts to consolidate workflows into a single, structured approach.
   

Operations Business Management

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Support Man Group Operations’ departmental budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Reporting & MI: Assist in the production of regular and ad hoc internal reports and management information (MI) for senior management and committees. This includes data gathering, tracking of deliverables, formatting, and the escalation of issues.
• Class Actions: Support the operation of the class actions process, working with claims agents to gather and analyse data that facilitates business decisions on claims participation.
   

Client Operations (COPS) & Fund Financial Reporting (FFR) Support

• Provide planned and ad-hoc analytical and administrative support to both the Client Operations and Fund Financial Reporting teams, assisting with reporting cycles, tracking deliverables, and general cross-team initiatives as required.

Purpose of Role:

The main purpose of the role is responsibility for the posting, review and reporting of the Group’s management fees, performance fees, client rebates and commissions. This involves the oversight and analytical review of monthly net revenue bookings, billing processes and cash matching as well as ensuring that payments to clients are made on a timely basis. This role will report directly into the Manager of Revenue.

Specific responsibilities:

• Review and post into the general ledger; ensure revenues, rebates and commissions are recorded correctly
• Analyse and understand the drivers behind changes to accruals and month-on-month movements
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations as part of the month-end reporting process
• Distribute payment schedules and invoices; ensure prompt collection of cash from clients/counterparties, including cash matching and management of returned payments

Technical competencies:

The Fixed Income Associate Portfolio Manager role spans a broad spectrum of research, investment, and technical tasks as part of the systematic fixed income team (Credit and Rates). The successful candidate for this highly competitive position will work closely with a team of other Portfolio Managers and Portfolio Analysts to build and implement Numeric’s investment strategies. This involves both validating the inputs to our models as well as the output from the quantitative signals used to make buy/sell decisions. The Associate Portfolio Manager will also monitor portfolio risk, analyze portfolio returns, and conduct analysis for strategy improvement and client communications. Purpose of role

Overall responsibility for investment content creation across a group of Man Group’s private credit funds.

The role requires developing a significant technical specialism in key private credit investment funds within Man’s Discretionary business area, so as to be able to credibly write, and present, investment content in a compelling and effective manner. These materials will need to be prepared on a regular basis for use with Man's institutional and retail client base.

A key element of the role will be to develop deep and credible relationships with the relevant private credit investment and CPM teams and to become a go-to source for Sales on the sub-set of funds covered. The successful applicant will be expected to produce high quality and professional materials quickly, efficiently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a full range of investment collateral, including fund marketing (new product launch materials, monthly performance commentaries), technical content (questionnaire and client queries) and sales enablement content (meeting materials, investment outlooks, product updates)

The Role

As a Quant Developer at Man Group you will be part of one of our flagship teams in Man’s systematic trading arm - Man AHL. The team works hand-in-hand with Quant Researchers focusing on equity market neutral models. Your challenges will be varied, and will involve building new alphas and new trading strategies.

Quant Developers at Man Group are all part of our broader technology team, members of a group of over sixty individuals representing eighteen nationalities. We have varied backgrounds including Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering – even Classics - but what unifies us is a passion for technology and writing high-quality code.

Algo Research Team

Algo Research team is responsible for alpha research across a wide range of time-scales (from high-frequency up to ~48 hours), design of monetization/execution algos and market impact modelling across all major asset classes (including Cash Equities, Futures, FX, Options). Job Profile Summary

The Man Group tax department is hiring to support Man's growing US business, and to serve as a key source of US tax technical knowledge.
