About The Role:
Join the Retail Operations Team as an Associate Director, Brand Operations where you will serve as the vital link between brand strategy and operational excellence. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day and back-end mechanics that allow the world’s most innovative brands to thrive across multiple commerce channels. Utilize Stackline’s proprietary data set to uncover opportunities as a trusted advisor to some of the biggest brands in the world.
The Associate Director, Brand Operations will be responsible for operating clients’ supply chains, enabling multi-channel fulfilment while driving profitability. You will own the results of brands’ performances and be the subject matter expert for packaging, fulfillment and supply chain optimization. You will be expected to be the subject matter expert and incorporate new supply chain and fulfillment technologies that optimize brands’ performances across retailers. This individual will innovate and be part of creating the tools and systems that will help brands successfully operate their businesses. This is a hybrid role based in Seattle (4 days/week in office).
What You Will Do:

Multi-Channel Fulfillment – manage and scale fulfillment strategies across various platforms to maximize logistical efficiencies and minimize cost.

Sales Forecasting – analyze historical data and market trends while leveraging proprietary Stackline tools to create accurate demand forecasts, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
- Catalog Management - create, maintain and optimize product listings to ensure accuracy, compliance and discoverability across all retail platforms.

Order Management – Oversee the end-to-end order generations, ensuring timely processing and coordination between brands, retailers and carriers.

Multi-Channel Fulfillment – manage and scale fulfillment strategies across various platforms to maximize logistical efficiencies and minimize cost.

Promotional Planning – partner with marketing teams to align operational readiness with promotional calendars, peak planning and new product launches.

Defect Resolution – proactively monitor and identify operations defects, including shipping errors, listing suppressions and supply chain disruptions.
Who We Are Looking For:
- 5+ years of relevant supply chain and/or account management experience
- 3+ years running and operation e-commerce retail fulfilment for programs such as Amazon Seller Central
- 4+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel to analyze large amounts of data and draw insights
- Demonstrated experience drawing insights from data to provide recommendations to clients on e-commerce strategy
- Demonstrated ability to stay organized while prioritizing and managing workflows
- Track record of synthesizing various data inputs into cohesive, creative, and polished client deliverables
- Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience manipulating data with technologies such as Redshift, SQL, Python, or similar.
- Experience using AI tools to develop new technologies

We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer who can take loosely defined problems and drive them end-to-end—from framing the problem and aligning stakeholders to designing, building, and delivering durable data solutions. You’ll partner closely with analytics, product, and engineering teams to deliver data solutions that drive real business and customer impact.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of industry experience in data engineering building scalable data pipelines and data products
- Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala, or Java)
- Proven experience building and maintaining robust data pipelines and ETL workflows, with hands-on dbt experience for reliable, testable, and maintainable data transformations.
- Hands-on experience ingesting data from diverse sources, including APIs, databases, SaaS applications, and event streams.
- Strong foundation in data modeling, schema design, and data quality best practices, with functional experience working on cloud platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Databricks.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and data observability to ensure reliability and trust in data systems
- Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and incident response for production-grade data pipelines
- Proven ability to optimize performance and cost across data workflows and storage systems

Compensation Details

We are looking for a Staff Security Software Engineer who is passionate about detecting and mitigating abuse in the Cloud.
As a Staff Security Software Engineer at DigitalOcean, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing cloud computing and AI. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Security Engineering within the Security organization. You should have experience developing and maintaining software systems in a complex, high-scale environment, analyzing outcomes and communicating insights to stakeholders, and rapidly devising solutions that are in alignment with overall business goals. Our team is focused on enabling DigitalOcean to scale safely by building systems that detect and prevent abuse on our platform. We highly value collaboration and growth, and work closely with other teams in the Security organization to deliver high quality solutions and also build tooling to boost their efficiency.

What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and deploy resilient services and tooling that provide security capabilities at scale, primarily in Go, with some work in Javascript and Python.
- Research and design automated approaches to detecting and actioning abuse and misuse of DigitalOcean products and services.
- Work with product and engineering teams to design and implement secure architectures.
- Design and build internal tools that enable our Security Operations Center to do more, faster.
- Measure the efficacy of our services and tools, using logs, metrics, and audit records, to drive reporting and decision-making, leading to iterative and transformative security improvements as DigitalOcean scales. What You’ll Add to DigitalOcean:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering projects, ideally with a security focus, in a complex, high-scale SaaS or IaaS environment. You are an expert in writing robust code with good test coverage and demonstrated success in delivering projects.
- Understanding of cloud-native services and infrastructure provisioning (e.g. compute, storage, networking).
- Deep familiarity with cloud services & infrastructure—compute, storage, network, managed services—and related abuse tactics, including DDoS, spamming, phishing, cryptomining, and bot networks.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in SQL and data warehouse querying (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
- A customer-first mindset—you aim to maximize abuse prevention while avoiding false-positives that could impact high-value customers.

What You'll Need:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Over 12 years of experience in data engineering and analytics, with at least 4 years in a staff-level or higher capacity. A proven track record of successfully leading enterprise-wide data modernization efforts.
- Tech Stack Mastery: Mastery of the modern data stack: Snowflake / Python / SQL / GitLab / AWS / Airflow/ AI tools like Claude code/Cursor. Understanding and implementation experience of AI agents is a plus.
- Cloud Architecture: Expert-level proficiency in relational and cloud database platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, or GCP) and distributed processing frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka).
- Strategic Thinking: Thorough knowledge and passion for data modeling (Kimball/Data Vault), database design, and data architecture principles. Ability to simplify complex, ambiguous issues into actionable technical plans.

- Prior experience with Identity and Access Management or Data Loss Prevention tools is a plus
- Experience with Linux or container frameworks (such as Docker and Kubernetes) is a strong plus
- Minimum of 3 years in a pre-sales or consulting role within a multinational environment
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline (master’s degree a plus)

The annual base salary range is $135,000 - $150,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. Data Strategy and Governance
- Intimately familiar with data technologies, data architecture frameworks, cloud platforms and the emerging trends in technological advancements.
- Proven experience in transforming our clients from on-prem data platforms to the cloud.
- Lead data modernization initiatives that include platform, technology and tools implementation and adoption.
- Must have experience in architecting and implementing data architecture, data engineering, reporting and analytical solutions across multiple business functions and domains.
- Conduct data management maturity assessments and identify pain points for including data quality, governance, architecture, analytics, metadata management, master data management.
- Demonstrate a rigorous and analytical problem-solving approach, leading information-gathering sessions and preparing and delivering client presentations and work products/prototypes.
- Identify data governance gaps and assess data governance maturity in a complex data environment. Should also be able to Identify the implications for data governance that arise from the technology, current processes, and skill levels in a complex data environment.
Data Architecture and Engineering
- Extensive experience or knowledge of cloud-based data platform technologies such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Computing.
- Experience designing and building data platforms that support data lakes, data stores, data ingestion and transformations and API services for consuming data
- Ability to design and build complex data pipelines that either stream data in
- Experience and knowledge of programming and scripting languages, such as but not limited to Python, Node.JS and SQL
- Experience and knowledge of data integration tools and platforms
- Experience and knowledge of relational and dimensional database structures, theories, principles, and practice used in data warehousing and analytics solutions
- Ability to design and build data models using the appropriate technics to meet business objectives
- In depth knowledge of modern data technologies including Snowflake, RedShift, Azure SQL/Synaspe, Databricks or similar technologies.
Advanced Analytics and Data Visualizations
- Extensive experience or knowledge of data visualization technologies such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik and Spotfire
- Experience with statistical and mathematical modeling, artificial intelligence and machine learning software and methods
- Experience and knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as, but not limited to, SQL, Python and R
- Experience with data modeling, data prep and machine learning tools like Alteryx, RapidMinder, RStudio and Tableau Prep
- Experience and knowledge of relational and dimensional database structures, theories, principles, and practice used in data warehousing and analytics solutions
- Experience deploying enterprise-wide reporting solutions while leveraging data visualization best practices
