The Team: Marketplace Quality Engineering:

Every second, our bidder evaluates millions of ad opportunities across thousands of publishers and supply paths. Not all of that supply is created equal — some of it is duplicated, some is structurally inaccessible, and some degrades advertiser outcomes. The Marketplace Quality Engineering team exists to make sure our platform is buying the right impressions, not just more impressions.

We own the systems that assess, measure, and optimize supply quality across the programmatic ecosystem. Our work spans deduplication, supply path analysis, quality modeling, and the tooling that turns those signals into decisions at bid time. Overview

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Core Experiences Team. This team builds and maintains the foundational services and SDKs that power Speechify’s product experience across platforms. It's a critical role for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of product and infrastructure, thinks strategically, and is passionate about designing clear, reliable APIs and simple systems that directly enhance the user experience.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with Speechify’s Product Teams to scope projects, find ways to reduce scope to get faster feedback from customers, navigate the integration/UX tradeoffs relevant to different product teams, and deliver solutions via our cross-platform SDK
• Optimize existing functionality to ship things like faster loading and more intelligent parsing by designing more efficient abstractions and improving our algorithms
• Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin

The United States Based Salary range for this role is: 140,000-200,000 USD/Year + Bonus + Stock depending on experience

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Our teams own the software development life cycle at the Trade Desk – from the first day of a new developer, to the first discussions about a feature, to coding and debugging, through deployment into our global data centers, and all the way to A/B Testing and Experimentation. Our goal is to build tools, frameworks, automation and processes that help our developers focus their time on delivering customer value.

You will be responsible for understanding the needs of our Trade Desk Engineering Team, the tools and processes that they use, the technical governance standards they must meet, and industry trends and best practices. You will be responsible for taking all of that information to define our developer experience (DX) strategy and the roadmap to get there. This includes; refining the local developer environment, how developers checkout, build, and merge code, how developers conduct code reviews, and the stewardship process for cross-team code submissions. You will also be responsible for developing the AI strategy and tools that help engineers be more efficient, innovative, and focus more time on inner development loop activities. You'll work closely with engineering, product, and other key stakeholders to develop the right metrics that drive data-driven decisions and drive execution against the roadmaps you create. This is a strategic role within the Trade Desk Development Platform organization where you will be leading deeply technical projects, AI development strategies, and providing leadership in a complex, fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• 6+ years of direct Product Management enterprise software development experience working with local developer tools and IDE’s, source code repositories, build and merge processes, deployment frameworks and tools, and product / feature releases.

• A deep understanding of the role of AI in the life of a developer including AI IDE plugins and CLI tools, MCP Servers, AI agent frameworks, and how these work to improve the SDLC.

• Demonstrated "working backwards" from internal customers to build long term strategies and solutions.

• A passion for building great developer experiences and a track record of having done so.

• A proven track record of partnering with engineering teams to solve complex, technical problems and delivering large and impactful software projects with measurable business outcomes.

• Excellent communication skills including the confidence to participate in very technical conversations, the ability to drive consensus and commitment, and the ability to crisply communicate delivery timelines, trade-offs and risks to senior management.

We're looking for a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition Operations to be the operational backbone of our Talent Acquisition function. What you'll do:

Who you are: 

• 8+ years inhouse or in combination with an internationally/nationally recognized law firm experience required.
• Admitted to practice in New York, Illinois, or California or the ability to register as In-House Counsel in New York, Illinois or California.
• Juris doctorate required.
• Experience in digital advertising, digital media, and/or scaled platforms required.
• Experience leading legal negotiations with world’s largest global companies strongly preferred.
• Excellent business judgement, superior leadership skills, and strong commitment to providing timely and top-quality client service with superior work product.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while juggling competing, time-sensitive demands.
• Excellent legal skills, including significant experience in structuring, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial technology agreements and identifying key data and privacy issues.
• Excellent interpersonal skills (sense of humor is a big plus).
• Ability to communicate complex legal concepts in layman’s terms.
