We’re looking for an Analytics & Business Intelligence, AVP to measurably drive growth for our Operations and Investment Management (OIPM) group at iCapital.

This role involves defining and calculating operational KPIs, transforming raw source data into processed business data, creating live dashboards to monitor performance, identifying driver metrics and statistical correlations, and finally working with business teams to enable data-driven change.

You will sit in the Analytics group of the broader Data & Analytics team within Technology, and will work closely with our Data Engineering group. Although you are initially expected to be an individual contributor, the role would eventually entail managing a team of 1-3 direct reports.

On the technical side, you will interface with our data stack of Airbyte, Snowflake, dbt, Prefect, Python and Tableau (among others). On the business side, you will work with our operations teams to produce management visibility, efficiency improvements and workflow automation.

Ideal candidates will be highly proficient in our technical tooling, understand complex business problems, interface with senior stakeholders, develop execution plans, and finally present on their work.

Responsibilities:

• Write SQL within dbt to extract, transform, validate, and aggregate data.
• SQL / DBT - 50%; Tableau/PowerBI - 30%; Python - 20%
• Create Tableau dashboards for various business teams, charting key metrics and performing exploratory data analysis
• Monitor and deploy data pipelines into our orchestration infrastructure using Prefect

Required Qualifications:

• 4 to 8 years of experience in a data-related role
• Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
• Excellent knowledge of SQL (dbt experienced preferred)
• Good knowledge of a business intelligence tool (e.g. Tableau, Looker, PowerBI)
• Good knowledge of Python, Microsoft Excel and intermediate statistics
• Familiar with data science techniques and machine learning models
• Prior experience with end-to-end project delivery (e.g. requirements gathering, scoping, working within large organizations, presenting on project plans and results)
• Detail-oriented, naturally curious and willing to question to status quo to understand business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in the financial services and alternative investments
• Prior experience in business analyst and/or project management roles

Compensation

• Design and lead test-and-learn programs across audiences, funnel stages, and creative frameworks; synthesize learnings into clear recommendations
• Own reporting and analytics for paid social, including pipeline contribution, conversion velocity, ROAS, and stage-level performance
• Build and maintain dashboards and performance frameworks that provide clear visibility into results and inform budget and strategy decisions
• Deliver regular performance readouts and strategic insights to Growth leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, tying results to business impact
• Stay ahead of platform, targeting, and measurement innovations to continuously evolve strategy and unlock new growth opportunitie

QUALIFICATIONS 

• 5–8 years of B2B digital marketing experience, with hands-on ownership of paid social programs in a fast-paced SaaS or high-growth environment
• Ability to tailor strategies, goals, and investment approaches by business segment, including enterprise and ABM-focused motions
• Experience owning reporting and measurement, using performance data to inform strategy, experimentation, and investment decisions with clear, actionable insights
• Ability to work effectively with agency partners and cross-functional stakeholders
• Working proficiency with account-based, marketing, and analytics platforms, including Demandbase or 6sense, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Ads Manager, Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker)

The annual salary hiring range for this position is $115,000 - $175,000 USD. 

Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
