About the Role

iCapital is looking to hire a Backend Engineer Associate or Assistant Vice President to join the Software Engineering team. This individual will play an integral role in designing and implementing systems that power the iCapital platform. This role will work closely with the Product Management team throughout the software development process. The platform sits on top of a micro-services architecture with services built in Scala, Ruby, and Python. This person will have the opportunity to develop knowledge with new tools and technologies with support from management and mentors.

About the Role

iCapital is looking to a hire a Vice President to join the Platform Infrastructure team. Responsibilities

• Build highly available solutions across the entire SDLC stack with a primary focus on an internet facing fintech site.

• 3+ years of experience with security best practices in AWS, including remediating SecurityHub findings
• 3+ years of experience with DevSecOps tools, including SAST tools, DAST tools, and SCA tools
• Microservices (Docker, Kubernetes) experience in a production environment is strongly desired
• Strong Linux OS-level and command-line and scripting knowledge and configuration management principles
• Working knowledge of databases such as MongoDB, Postgres, and DynamoDB

Based on the skill and level of experience required for this role, the estimated current annual base range for this role is $186,900 to $220,400 (USD). Salary Range:  $180,000 to $200,000. The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives. In addition, Care.com provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life, and disability insurance, a generous 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
