We are currently looking for a Senior Radar FPGA/Embedded Systems Engineer to support our growing team. Our Radar Systems group develops, maintains, and operates advanced software for phased array radars. This role would be responsible for building, maintaining, and deploying the FPGA images we use in our in house SDRs as well as the control software to interact with the radar and drivers.

Daily work focuses on software development in the following key areas:

Xilinx Platform Ownership

• Own and maintain the Xilinx Vivado + Yocto project(s) end-to-end
• Modernize and harden the development and production environments
• Update the existing projects to build and run on current Xilinx tool versions
• Establish a reliable process to build, package, and deploy FPGA/boot images to devices (local and remote)

Testing, Verification & Reliability

• Significantly improve the FPGA verification and regression infrastructure
• Add observability and diagnostics for on-target debug (ILA/VIO, counters, assertions/health monitors) and define acceptance tests for new releases

Embedded Software Integration (C / Rust)

• Be comfortable reading and writing C and Rust for embedded targets to support FPGA integration
• Define and maintain clean FPGA software contracts to support long-term maintainability

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. personnel security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in EE/CE (or related) plus 8+ years of relevant FPGA experience (or equivalent advanced degree + fewer years)
• Excellent communications skills, must be able to communicate highly technical ideas in a manner that is comprehensible to a team composed of individuals from diverse disciplines
• Strong, demonstrated experience owning production Xilinx FPGA projects (Vivado, constraints, IP integration), plus embedded Linux exposure
• Direct experience with Xilinx RFSoC devices (architecture, data converters, clocking, tool flow, common pitfalls)
• Ability to take an HDL module through the full FPGA flow on an SoC platform
• Experience operating and updating Yocto/AMD EDF-based systems in the field, including remote update/deployment workflows

• Practical experience with coherent timing systems (10 MHz / 1PPS) and debugging timing-sensitive field issues

Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Rust Engineer with strong expertise in system architecture and execution engines. Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement the on-chain order book and matching engine in Rust.

RustVMM has great potential as a new hypervisor for Linux. We are building a team to work on this, with an emphasis on performance, security and operability. Work in Rust and bring your expert knowledge of VMM and related kernel networking and storage capabilities.

Docker images are easy to make and publish on Docker Hub and other registries, but the quality, consistency and security maintenance of those images is broadly very poor. Canonical is in a good position to publish a portfolio of outstanding Docker images. Our Rockcraft team is designing and implementing an elevated Docker image experience for the open source community.

LXD is a modern system container and virtual machine manager that is widely used on Ubuntu, ChromeOS and other Linux platforms. LXD engineering spans the entire software stack from low-level kernel work on namespaces, confinement, security, filesystems, VMMs and networking, to the high level management REST API and CLI.

Members of the Kubernetes product team build MicroK8s for on-rails K8s, and Charmed Kubernetes for more sophisticated integration. We work on K8s itself and on the operations tooling around it.

The OpenStack team deliver Charmed OpenStack, OVN / OVS and Ceph. This work brings cloud platform technologies to large-scale computing environments.

These teams hire system level C/C++, Golang, Rust and Python developers to work on security-critical, performance-critical and mission-critical code, focused on software delivery, containers, security, sandboxing, application orchestration and management. We are looking for an APAC Developer Relations specialist (must speak Chinese and English fluently) to help builders deploy on XION with minimal friction. This role involves being the primary point of contact for developers, providing hands-on support while continuously improving documentation, examples, and tooling in collaboration with the engineering team. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, with expertise in at least one of TypeScript, Go, or Rust, and experience in DevRel or open-source contributions. You should be highly organized, proactive in addressing developer needs, and passionate about blockchain technology’s potential for mass adoption.

Responsibilities

• Top priority: help builders deploy on XION as seamlessly as possible, and continuously improve the developer experience
• Be the lead point of contact for builders deploying on XION, providing proactive support to builders across direct Telegram chats, Discord channels, forums, and community chats.
• Address developer pain points by improving documentation, examples, SDKs, and APIs in collaboration with engineering.
• Gather and prioritize developer feedback for product and engineering team enhancements.
• Advocate internally for the developer community’s needs and concerns.

• Strong, proactive communication skills. Builders always come first. Never let over 15 hours pass on a support request without acknowledgement that the message was received.

It is important to stay organized so that builders receive the highest level of support. In addition, repeated requests will need to be logged, surfaced and addressed in documentation & improved developer tools to streamline future support.
• Strong background in Computer Science through education or self-learning.
